Agreed. Would not be surprised to see some stake building by a potential suitor.

imho, the business model is excellent (barring Stone's egotistical, empire building overseas ambitions !).

Huge volume today. The average is normally 4,340,920 today saw 17.5m go through, mostly at the end of the day. Perhaps there's going to be announcement sometime soon.

HOT, it was signed and sealed last friday, i was hoping nis would release in a rns but i think they just bundled it into the trading update as orders are ahead of last year, pity because i think that the market would of reacted well to nis breaking into australia. Why don't you e-mail them and ask why no rns.

Unfortunately, so long as Stone is in the executive chair, this company (with excellent product portfolio, customer base and prospects), will deliver little in terms of shareholder value.

Stone, I'm afraid is seen as being far too egotistical - especially with his overseas ambitions, which are far too ambitious for his own good.

The only prospect of a significant short-term increase in share price is a suitor or suitors (which is possible). Longer term, Stone has to go - there may well be some pressure from institutional investors.

All imho, of course.

FTSE have confirmed NIS are to be relegated to the Small Cap index, with effect from Monday 24th September.

Could be interesting next week.

Stable - you talk of large-scale selling but it is not coming from one source or we would have had a RNS - the only change since the results has been an increase from 5.14% to 6.05% by UBS.

The shares issued in part payment for Arinso represent approx. 8% of the enlarged capital. It may be that these have been drifting onto the market if a dealing facility was introduced (I have experienced the reverse - when Allied Domecq was taken over I received some Paris-traded shares and there was a free dealing facility in the 6 months after they were issued. I, and I suspect most other small shareholders, took advantage of it while it was available.

Northgate recently won a 8m 3yr contract in australia, i find this very positive having broken into another country so why didn't nis mention this in there recent update, i think either they don't want the share price to rise or there pr is rubbish.

FTSE will announce the reshuffle after close tomorrow. I don't think NIS closed high enough tonight to stay in the FTSE 250 index and it will be demoted to the Small Cap index. But I may be wrong.

I have for the past few months wondered where the selling has been coming from.
I have not been able to find a lock in agreement for the 45 mill shares that the boss of the recent purchase rec'd, plus any other shares that were used to buy the remaining 35pc that completed the purchase.
Today action, like many days recently has seen a lot of selling into the rise as 76p was paid this am. and then we saw a slow drift down.
Someone has been selling a lot, let us hope they will soon be finished, but I have my doubts and we might well have to wait a few more months before we return to what I consider fair value.

Excellent news and the share price barely moves.

Wonder if there is a share overhang possibly from previous aquisitions.

Today's rise may just be enough to keep NIS in the FTSE 250 index - review is based on closing prices tonight.
