26/3/2007 10:19 | I agree Slater. I expect news for NIS soon...they have been quiet. | ![]() hotfinance14
26/3/2007 10:01 | Alas, this seems to be the nature of this beast. Slow an sideways. Of course with hindsight there have been many chances to make even greater profits with NIS. I have never sold at anytime, or even contemplated doing so, and yet with all that confidence failed to buy significantly more following the big falls or periods of stagnation in the share price It is tipped, and the figures all tell us, that this is a good investment. So if you have the cash, and dont mind a wait, its a strong buy. And remember it takes an age when you are waiting for an egg to boil. I think at around the low 80s, this is cheap as chips. OK it may take another year, but either a bid or just performance from NIS, WILL drive the share price north. | slaterlp
25/3/2007 20:54 | I am a long-term holder of NIS, and have done well from the share, but I have to admit that I am no better off now than I was a year ago. This share has traded sideways for a year--apart from the spike caused by the alleged buy out. What do we need to see to get this share moving? | ![]() jadeticl
25/3/2007 11:23 | I agree slater...we should be over 120p by now. | ![]() hotfinance14
24/3/2007 14:42 | I am very surprised we have not had news of NIS education contracts. What was said in the budget on education ? | ![]() hotfinance14
24/3/2007 14:27 | slaterlp Nobody of any significance I am afraid. A novice investor patiently waiting - since 1999 for ASD, NIS, SCO & TED to make me rich...!! I can appreciate your frustration with ASD but comfort myself with what Warren Buffet said about owning a share for at least ten years. I live in hope. | ![]() soulman
24/3/2007 13:26 | I expect to see 90p soon!!!! | ![]() hotfinance14

24/3/2007 09:26 | So Soulman, who are you, in another alias? As you are aware of Hots postings, you must have been around for a while. :) | slaterlp
23/3/2007 20:35 | Hot - you have been expectng 90p for a loooooong time. I have been too!!! | ![]() soulman
23/3/2007 14:08 | I expect to see 90p soon...without news. | ![]() hotfinance14
23/3/2007 12:44 | I rather hope thats the case. Last time they were around, they had the effect of stabilising the share price at an 80p base. Perhaps if they sniff a little harder they can raise it to 90p. :) Or maybe its just the usual time lag with NIS, recovering the few pence lost in the recent global sell-offs. Either way as long as its north, I dont care too much for now, and remain confident that by the end of this year we will all look back and wish we'd had a whole lot more money to invest at 84p. | slaterlp
23/3/2007 11:35 | ACORN, there seems to be some speculation rising that the PE vultures are 'looking again'....guess we will know soon enough. regards T.. | ![]() tradx666

20/3/2007 15:59 | slaterlp - no isoft purchased the remainder of Northgate's domestic healthcare unit for £33m this was after NIS had sold the international unit to isoft a few years before - The only difference was isoft's 1st purchase transformed IOT to a healthcare titan but, the 2nd purchase of the domestic business appears to have been the start point of crisis for IOT...imho | ![]() grlz
17/3/2007 09:36 | Didn't NIS dump Isoft or have i got that wrong? | slaterlp
