Hotfinance,

I don't know if you have ever attended these types of presentations, but they are in the main fairly boring; i.e. strategic positing, tactical operational execution, value-adds, USP's, management summary, aspirations etc etc - they are useful as background fillers and for understanding their business model, but they very carefully avoid all indications of current performance...oddly enough, they are more often than not attended by existing shareholders to remind them/benchmark them against the sector and why they are invested...

So, in short, I expect no great short-term movement in the SP, unless that is one of the vultures PE groups starts to make a move..

all of course imho!

regards

I have recently spoke to many staff at NIS and they are very busy,

Slater...you sound like the lonely one.

Hot. I have a question.

Why do you always post the news from this site?. What is the point?

Everyone is capable of reading it just as you are. If you were posting news from another site it would make sense, but as it is only one click away from this thread then it really is a bit of a waste of time. Of course if you drew attention to it with some words of wisdom or knowledge that would be worthy. But you never do, do you?

Tell me about yourself. Do you crave attention? Are you a loner with no friends, and does this satisfy a need in you to be noticed? :)

I have to say that the sum of the parts must easily exceed todays value, and getting your hands on their cashflows would look particularly attractive to a vulture pe group...

It can surely only be a matter of time?

DD, No doesn't quote SAGE, but does suggest very good fit. Not sure if they got that from sage, or just rumour.

Also says that expects either share price will rise on companies own expansion and increasing revenues or because it will be taken out by others that are still sniffing around.-- Doesn't name them. but either way as HF says states Strong buy. Its pretty well a sure thing (as much as any stock can be)that the share price is going to rise, just a case of when.

As Tradx666 says the downside may well be the fear of cut backs in govt spending. But they are not wholly relieant on that, they have other solid business. But this stock stands out for the lack of excitement around the share price Most other stocks in this position would be rated higher. its always ben this way with NIS (for years since it was called MDIS), and early this century it fell to 22pish and that shook people, when they should have piled in big time. (me included).

As far as I am concerned, its a buy and hold. And if the market in general falls, this will fall more than it should and that is the perfect time to buy as many as you can afford. Also after its results, however good, historically the share price retreats. Peculiar but there it is.

Good post Tradx666.

Not sure possible change of govt is part of the equation. The NHS and education appear sacrosanct no matter which set of numbtys gets in.

I am in this company for the long term, I just worry someone will buy it on the cheap

Thanks for responses. Interesting angle Tradx666. I'm sure there must be, at the very least, an element of caution presented in the current share price

Not seen the Willis broker's note in full, having only read snippets. Does it actually quote Sage as a potential suitor for the human resources software ?

DD,

NiS has a blue chip customer base, strong free-cashflows, and an inate ability to position itself well in respect of leveraging it's relationships into new/stronger well-funded government initiatives. It's margins are solid if not overly exciting. It's only risk factor can surely be that when this government is kicked out, that spending will be reined in and pressure on margins could ensue, and this preponderance and skew of revenues must surely be why this business is not more highly valued?

We will see.
