The Aus market was a bit of a disaster overnight (for O&G) and the 'hedge funds' are probably having a field day shorting everything big enough that's listed. The small caps will wilt in sympathy. Have to wait until the leaches cease to feed off the market's worries (global economies, the euro etc).

No press at all this weekend barring the same thing rehashed. I have yet to read a serious piece explaining the possibilities of this new frontier or crunching any numbers. Crunching biscuits yes , numbers no.

You're suggesting that Derek might not be able to find $1or2m for follow-up wells? He couldn't finance a minority share in a world class asset?

He might well do a deal with Shell cross-related to Italy. He's good at doing deals.
