Be fair Val , I've only ever slagged off the European stuff and the management.
Cast you mind back to the IOW. I was hauled over the coals for stating that it was madness , as it proved to be.
I am very bullish on the French Guiana licence , as shown by some of the figures that I've done. The fact that NOP aren't in charge is a bonus.
IMO they need to get rid of the British stuff , farm out the Italian acreage for a free carry and continue with Holland plus South America.
They will probably do the opposite.

Wow, Reading that report you would think this should be a great investment. Then reality seeps back into your mind and you realise it is still NOP and nothing much ever happens.

A rather hastily written update , it still talks of August being in the future in the second part. Also , I was of the opinion that the 300-700 million figure has been revised to the high side with the data available.
I would imagine that if we approach the new 149p figure , they will revise it up again.

700 million x 0.0125 = 8.75 million to NOP. Worth perhaps $10 a barrel looking forward = $87.5 million.
Some think that the licence could contain ten times that amount.
The two figures then come out at 60p and £6.
