18/9/2011 08:45 | Sorry Max , I thought you meant something else by "works a treat with booze". To be honest , I've been drifting in and out of reality due to sleep deprivation. The other day I bought some more of these as a short term trade to try to make a quick 10%. I thought it was a dream , but checking my trading account I really did it! | bionicdog

17/9/2011 20:01 | I suggest you stop being a wimp and open a nice bottle of red to celebrate. There are no particular side effects to drinking alcohol with amoxicillin, which is a penicillin based antibiotic. Enjoy | sg31

17/9/2011 09:43 | Alcoholics struggle to keep their balance for years after giving up the bottle By Rob Cooper Last updated at 11:26 PM on 16th September 2011 Stumbling home from the pub before toppling over the kerb, you can usually spot a drunk person a mile off. Scientists claim that recovering alcoholics still struggle to keep their balance for years after giving up the bottle. A U.S. study revealed that heavy drinking has a major impact on coordination for years. Researchers found that alcoholics who had only recently given up struggled to walk straight along a line or stand heel to toe with their arms folded for a minute with their eyes closed in tests, LiveScience.com reported. Although it is little surprise that alcoholics struggled with the tasks, those who had given up the bottle also struggled with them. The team at the Neurobehavioural Research unit in Honolulu, Hawaii, analysed the balance and gait of 200 volunteers. Read more: | maxk

16/9/2011 21:54 | What medication have they put you on? Is it just a short course or do you need to take it longer term? They often say you shouldn't drink when taking certain meds because the alcohol effect will be enhanced and you will be intoxicated on a smaller amount of alcohol than normal.Or you could be much more intoxicated on the same amount you usually drink. I try to ensure it is the latter. I have a number of friends who have between them taken just about everything available on prescription. They have all drunk alcohol on these drugs, only in a few cases did it really affect them badly. | sg31
16/9/2011 19:40 | Enjoy yourselves. Just imagine how drunk I'll be next friday. | bionicdog |
