It's lower than it was a few months back , I'm not cheering.
Can't wait to hear what Tiny Tim and MW have to say on the matter.

At least, for NOP shareholders, today, they have something to cheer about.

Explain WSX and DB.Please put that point to Nighthawk shareholders, and Cambridge Mineral.

imperial anyone who invests in NOP purely on this and forgetting the company's history is setting themselves up for a fall.

WSX has DB at the helm, the market has concentrated purely at the find.I do agree there is a herd charge there.By the same token, the market is yet to adjust to pricing of NOP accordingly. What the management do, or do not do, is irrelevant at this moment. It is the impact of the find, and the ramifications of this that matters. If you are a shareholder in WSX,would you really care now, what has happened to Nighthawk? I really do not think so.What is on your screen,is holding your attention, anything else is history.

maxk - 9 Sep'11 - 15:34 - 33709 of 33712 (premium)

maxk I think both your statements are true.
WSX has gone bonkers as it is a tiddler with a decent find for it's size and the herd are pushing it, soon to fall back next week IMO.
NOP has something wrong - the trust has gone and the mgt' have no credibilty with the city IMO.

The latter.
Everyone seems to have forgotten we had 24m£ of cash on the balance sheet at the end of June .Take most of that off the NOP current market cap and we have £70m EV max.
Is the balance of NOP business outside S.America only worth 35£m? .Bonkers.

The biscuit bill came in much higher than invisaged creating a drag on the sharprice imho. That's what happens when you watch too much daytime television because you are not the Zaedyus operator (thank God).

Rerating on the way.Once the potential sinks in,buyers will move in,and then watch the price move.Still way behind WSX,on price movement, relatively speaking.

so... tullow 900 million shares in issue, 200p rise in price, gives £1.8 billion increase in market cap for a 27.5% share of the block. or £65m per percentage of the block

so....northern 93 million shares in issue, 20p rise in price, gives £0.018 billion increase in market cap for a 1.25% share of the block. or £15m per percentage of the block

all other things being equal NOP should have seen a share price increase of 91p this morning. clearly other things are not equal but still...

Any prospects of a cash call is not troubling WSX.Should not be here either.

All depends if NOP have the funds estseon, but should not be long to wait as interims out soon.

Be interesting to see how much Holland is actually pulling in, a cash call may be necessary as TLW won't want to be hanging around now.
