Opposite for me with CLLN, tasty dividend at over 8% but, nursing a bit of a loss, seems to be falling every day. I know they have large pension liabilities and highish debt, but, always seemed a well run company to me. Anyone else here hold these, any reason for the poor share performance ?

3/7 for me this week, slightly better than the historic average!

UKR, now that's a name from the past. Just looked back to see I sold all mine in Feb 15 for 6.25p

CTO still holding firm, fingers crossed!

Just about freezing, with some black ice and frost this morning. The sun is trying to appear. The frost was where it doesn't shine.

After some difficulties which were driver related (as per Aleman's comments) the service from DX. has improved dramatically and they are now getting a larger slice of our business.

Hoping CTO can hold up today as they are the only one keeping me positive!

UBI now up 30% on virtually no volume! Interesting that Kestrel have been stakebuilding. They built a substantial stake in KBC over several years and then orchestrated its sale. Hopefully might do the same for UBI.

DX's problem has been finding and retaining drivers in a tight market. I think that market might be slackening so the driver problem might disappear soon. Trouble is, what does a slowing economy do to its parcel volumes? Internet is driving that market and more people are getting more comfortable with unusual products ordered online, which is one of DX's specialities. I don't know what a slowdown will do to DX. It might aggravate the slowdown on its legal side but I could foresee circumstances where it goes either way if costs ease. It's a tough call but at least the share price is already quite modest and shouldn't fall as far as others if markets weaken.

Incidentally, we won the quiz last night and the traffic home was very busy, with lots of HGVs.

Well so far I'm confounded. CTO +11, UBI +9. Just hope it holds.

Numbers from BT look poor, yet the overreaction to the Italian fraud makes it look like it might already be priced in. Coral products update is a bad one - promising losses for the year after deterioration in Nov and Dec. Deterioration in Q4 last year is becoming a common theme in several sectors in the UK and US.

Good trading statements from CTO and UBI. On recent form probably means they will open down!

I'm up +0.103% on the day today (FTSE100 -0.041%).

Best rises: IMI +4.5%, DGE +3.6% and PSON +1.7%.

Worst falls: ULVR -4.7%, ADM -1.3% and RIO -1.2%.

DGE and ULVR both reported today, but with very different market reactions. No idea why IMI went up so much, but copper may have something to do with it.

It has been cloudy all day and seemed to stay below freezing point all day.

Good result in the T20i today. Eoin Morgan hit a great 51.

+0.06%. {FTSE250 +0.05%]

Highest value risers : GVC +2.3%, TCAP +3.2%, BGO +3.6%.

Worst value faller : IGR -4%.

These small Folio gains are not enough to offset the falls on Mon/Tues.

Another revealing episode of Italy's Invisible Cities last night, with Alexander Armstrong, this time in Florence.

Coldest day of the year just -1C up to 0C. Not a chance of any sun, that seemed to be further North.

My SIPP finished down 0.10 and is now only just positive YTD.

It was cold on the front in Hastings - dull and grey all the way there and back - between -2°C and 1°C.
