27/5/2024 13:19 | Thanks P1nk. | loglorry1
27/5/2024 13:07 | A liquidity event or two won't do any harm ready for when things do finally roll-over and Mills has dry powder ready. | p1nkfish
27/5/2024 13:06 | Not that I know of. I look at the AR list then look at the company details for the 3%+ list of in their individual AR's. | p1nkfish
27/5/2024 10:36 | P1nkfish other than the AR is there a list of holdings and % holding sizes anywhere? | loglorry1
24/5/2024 17:35 | RCN may receive a bid. Harwood holds 11%. Possible £24M+ liquidity event. | p1nkfish
21/5/2024 21:29 | Thanks p1nkfish. Yes also held for years. He knows what he's doing. | loglorry1
21/5/2024 15:25 | Harwood/Oryx have upped their holding in ANCR. Good to see. | p1nkfish
21/5/2024 15:07 | ll, Mills is relatively expensive but the market knows that and in the face of it the price is now rising. You can think of it as being allowed for in the average discount to NAV - in other words there will always be a discount because of costs but the recent discount (allowing for all costs) has been excessive anyway. If it's a bother you can buy VUKE or VMID or others at a fraction but be held back by the sludge of underperformers in the index. Mills will never be cheap. I have known about the costs of holding NAS for years but still hold some and monitor it for ideas too. He tends to handle cycles pretty well if you hold for long enough. | p1nkfish
21/5/2024 13:48 | Had a better look at these and it looks like Mills is taking about £10m in fees out of the fund including management fees and his directors pay. I should have spotted that earlier as it seems like a lot. Am I wrong or is this about right? | loglorry1
21/5/2024 13:30 | Odyssean sister company announcement-- Whilst the Board and Odyssean Capital are cognisant that OIT’s shares are trading at or around NAV, both agree that the proposed Tender Offer is appropriate to fulfil the commitment made to investors in the IPO Prospectus. In the Circular detailing the Tender Offer process, the Board has reconfirmed that it intends to continue to offer further redemption opportunities in the future in every 7th year post IPO. A matching facility will be put in place with the intention that any shares tendered be matched with buying interest to ameliorate a shrinkage of the size of OIT and provide a liquidity opportunity for those investors who wish to acquire shares at NAV. Any professional investor interested in purchasing shares in connection with the tender placing should contact Innes Urquhart at Winterflood Securities on 020 3100 0265 or via email to express their interest. | davebowler

16/5/2024 07:16 | Monthly close > £41.10 and this could run towards £50 with approx 20% upside and possibly in 6 months for a cagr of 40%. Those of us buying towards £36 are doing ok anyway. Dyor, I'm often wrong. | p1nkfish
10/5/2024 16:00 | If not mistaken it has ended with the highest weekly close since Feb 2022. Granted the weekly volume has been pretty low, but interesting non-the-less. Very interesting if it finishes the month over 4105p. | p1nkfish
10/5/2024 14:39 | I had a small investment in these, made recently but sold today for a quick 10%. Have you seen how much Chris Mills creams off? I like a lot of his investments but so what. | arthur_lame_stocks
10/5/2024 07:04 | Talk about investing in family/founder owned and run businesses. Crest Foods is an example. The Meinera family. A new investment for NAS and the family must love that place. | p1nkfish
10/5/2024 06:52 | Probably not proof read before release, Chairman's statement has repetition. A bit sloppy. It matters, more care needed. | p1nkfish
10/5/2024 06:36 | Report out NAS view of UK market. Expect more communication in future to keep market informed on investments. Hold. | p1nkfish
