New high for the Dow Jones. Within striking distance of 20,000

Yes. It's slightly boring focus on dividends, has actually put it into the sweet spot for all of the infrastructure beneficiaries of Trumps trillion dollar splurge. Plus, don't forget the one off 10% corporate tax for repatriation of overseas cash, that will swell the corporate coffers and lead to higher yields...

...and yet another new all time high on NAV(including income) of £13.19
IMHO this should now be trading nearer £13.00 than £12.00
The best performing trust in it's sector and really easy way to gain exposure to the powerhouse that is US stockmarket.
As always dyor

Yes. Computer generated nonsense. Best we can hope for here is a slight premium to the nav, which is another quid on top...

Those targets are not even worth reading. The Dow & S&P would have to double to hit them and sterling to weaken a lot more.

All time high on NAV today of £12.81(including income) and share price slips on the close to show a discount of £1.19 per share

Real value here IMO with once again on Wall Street tonight some of the holdings showing nice gains which should only boost the NAV tomorrow!
:-)

Taking a breather today after yesterday's surge which can be expected.
New all time high on NAV of £12.70 will give support to share price
IMO, this should be trading above £12.00

Still a pound behind. But less of a discount as a percentage I suppose...

Wow what a day here!!!
New intra day high of £12.40 on share price and settled to close at all time high of £11.92 along with a 20p rise on NAV(including income)to £12.54, also an all time high.
Even tonight some of the trusts holdings are showing some nice gains again which can only boost NAV further.
IMO, a really inexpensive way to gaining exposure to USA stocks and should form a part of any investors portfolio.
But as always, DYOR

Good move today, on what appears to be an increase in nav, and a shrinking discount to NAV...

Indeed. Trump should be positive for this, plus the currency movement with interest rates up after the splurge...

SP goes to new all time high today.
The top performing Trust in it's sector and there is still value here given the discount to NAV, all imho

The switch from Tech Growth to Value / real economy growth (builders / banks) etc will benefit NAIT. This has now grown into my largest holding.

Income from the states...a sensible holding. I use this for US income exposure, HFEL for asia and the normal defensive holdings listed in UK for equity...and all have fallen heavily this past week. In fact my only holdings which haven't fallen heavily are solar.
