04/11/2016 16:29 | Should have followed my hunch to sell, but I still think it's a core holding for my sipp, so happy to leave... | zcaprd7
02/11/2016 15:52 | Lot of volume today, almost as if the technicals (through resistance) are catching up with the fundamentals... I suppose a closing of the discount to NAV might be a sell trigger? | zcaprd7
02/11/2016 13:03 | Discount appears to be closing, don't know how to handle election jitters or currency swings? | zcaprd7
31/10/2016 10:14 | Clearly hard to know ref exchange raters. I might feel uncomfortable taking a new position now but happy to hold what I already have...mainly as insurance against the decline of the UK (and pound) in the medium to long term. | nimbo1
30/10/2016 10:19 | Not that bullish are they? Anybody here concerned about the US elections? I had toyed with the idea if bringing this back into sterling (either cash, or a UK discounted trust), although a few commentators believe the pound has further to drop... | zcaprd7
22/10/2016 10:51 | Always worth a read- Performance Data and Analytics to 30 September 2016 | 29palms
18/10/2016 18:51 | Buying their own shares again... | zcaprd7
13/10/2016 12:39 | It goes ex-div today which is 7p But, drop today is overdone especially when NAV goes to all time high of £12.45 Value here is, imo, outstanding. Currently £1.52 per share discount. | 29palms
13/10/2016 11:45 | New NAV high. And we drop... | zcaprd7
12/10/2016 18:52 | VOF looks interesting. My only fruity stuff is St Peters ports and opp... | zcaprd7

12/10/2016 15:18 | zcaprd - check out my IT board for one lunatics view on the IT world :D | luckymouse
12/10/2016 15:00 | Well my most similar to this in a different geographic area would be HFEL. Only UK focussed smaller company trust I hold is AGIT. I did buy a new holding today - VOF...vietnam doing well at the moment and 25 % discount. Not a massive % holding mind. There are some quality asian trusts that invest in small caps - SST, FAS as examples. | nimbo1
12/10/2016 14:48 | Anyone have any other trusts similar to this, but a different geographic area? Other investment ideas? I was thinking a small UK fund to back a successful brexit? | zcaprd7
11/10/2016 16:03 | Agreed. It started as a hedge for me, pre referendum, but like what I see, and will remain a core holding for my sipp... | zcaprd7
11/10/2016 12:52 | NAV continues to climb and discount again widens All time high(including income) £12.40 ...and nice review by Edison today | 29palms
11/10/2016 07:28 | this is an insurance policy at the moment with the continuing decline of sterling. | nimbo1
10/10/2016 12:56 | ...and yet another new all time high on NAV £12.27(includi Currently trading at £1.14 per share discount, so should be way higher than here imho | 29palms
07/10/2016 14:06 | Always seems to lag by a £1 to NAV, which I suppose as it keep rising, is a reducing percentage discount to NAV? I thought the best performing trusts had small premiums to NAV? | zcaprd7
07/10/2016 14:04 | Brewing dolphin have 10%, funds buying trusts, wouldn't want to be a client there lol... | zcaprd7
07/10/2016 12:56 | New all time high on NAV today of £12.1295(inclu With the continuing fall of £ v $ this has only one way to go at the moment imo Sp should be trading nearer £12 than £11 Top performing trust in it's sector but, DYOR | 29palms
