22/9/2016 22:28 | Well worth a read. Performance Data and Analytics to 31 August 2016 | 29palms
22/9/2016 17:56 | Something must happen here imo Tonight share price close is £1.20 per share discount to NAV including income. 2nd Interim div announcement due, probably at 7p per share Watching for a spike back up tomorrow with the US market soaring by triple digit tonight | 29palms
22/9/2016 15:48 | Yes. Seems bonkers we are down today. Interest rate rises expected in the US, so presumably dollar to strengthen against the pound? | zcaprd7
22/9/2016 13:12 | All time high on NAV including income was £11.96 on 11th August, so not far off. SP closed that day @ £10.935 Way to go imo | 29palms
22/9/2016 10:51 | Excellent. I think £11.85 is the highest nav we've had? | zcaprd7
12/9/2016 22:50 | Nav dropped back about now... | zcaprd7
08/9/2016 12:41 | Nav still 11.72. So this drop is a bit frustrating? | zcaprd7
05/9/2016 16:15 | Agreed. The NAV has dropped a few pence off the high, but the share price has dropped a lot more.. | zcaprd7
05/9/2016 13:03 | SP showing £1.23 discount to NAV(including income)today IMO real value here and as I have said before should be trading well above £11.00 per share DYOR | 29palms
02/9/2016 10:43 | Interesting to see the latest NAV... | zcaprd7
28/8/2016 09:49 | Performance data to 31st July here- on Page 3 select North America | 29palms
27/8/2016 13:06 | Currency has been working against us, but still a chunky discount to NAV here... | zcaprd7
16/8/2016 22:41 | Yes, I know. And it dropped! | zcaprd7
16/8/2016 11:38 | NAV climbs to new all time high of £12.08 (including income) sp should be trading a lot higher than where we are. DYOR | 29palms
15/8/2016 13:08 | Yeah and share price is still too low imo | 29palms
15/8/2016 12:21 | Still flying. Nearly £12 on the NAV... | zcaprd7
12/8/2016 15:43 | Just a pause for breath there, I got my quarterly dividend... Think I will hold for a while. Might top up when trump gets elected lol | zcaprd7
10/8/2016 18:33 | Psychological barrier broken today as we go through the £11.00 mark to a new all time high on share price This along with new all time high on NAV(Including Income) = £11.91. As I have said previously this should form a part of any investor's portfolio seeking exposure to US markets. IMHO share price should be much higher than today's all time high. DYOR | 29palms
08/8/2016 11:11 | Yeah. Another 14p on the NAV. Another high... | zcaprd7
05/8/2016 18:12 | With BoE interest rate cut yesterday bringing about a further drop in the GB£ v US$ coupled with the US Stock markets soaring tonight on better than expected job figures this, IMHO, has only one way to go. Will be interesting to see NAV figs on Monday. DYOR | 29palms
05/8/2016 11:00 | Pound dropped, discount to NAV decreasing here now... | zcaprd7
03/8/2016 21:10 | Have they paid off their debt? | zcaprd7
01/8/2016 16:36 | Agreed. Had started this as a hedge against brexit (third of my total sipp), but quite happy to leave it alone now... | zcaprd7
31/7/2016 16:36 | From the year end annual results 31st January 2016- The Company’s share price fell by 5.8% to 815.0p and ended the year at a 12.9% discount to total net asset value, compared with a 7.9% discount at the end of the 2015 financial year. This is far from ideal and the Board continues to work with the Manager in both promoting the Company’s benefits to a wider audience and providing liquidity to the market through the use of share buybacks. During the year 2.9 million shares were repurchased at a cost of £24.5 million. Since the year-end, a further 848,700 shares have been repurchased at a cost of £7.1 million and the discount as at 22 March 2016 was 10.8%. So judging by these comments the Manager would probably be looking at Discount around 7.9% to NAV to equal year end 2015. I have to say again share price should be trading way above £11.00 and this should be a core holding for any investor looking for exposure to the US given happenings since BREXIT. ST today even has a report on the beauty of investing in America by Ian Cowie DYOR | 29palms
31/7/2016 13:19 | So, what is a reasonable discount to NAV? Its getting there... | zcaprd7 |
