Norseman Gold: North Royal open pit remains key, says Ocean Equities - Proactiveinvestors (UK)

Impossible to say at this point.

Tulla have set a budget to continue care and maintaining.

It is all down to whether there are genuinely interested parties for a JV

For now We only have the information from TW that they have spent time
and money on preparing Harlequin.

The perverse irony is that if there does become a physical Gold shortage
in the next couple of years, then situations like Norseman would have money
thrown at them like Last Minute Dot-Com in the Dot-Com era-all assuming
there is a price of Gold that such Mines will be profitable at.

Let`s face it- at $2000oz Norseman and its prior inefficiencies would have been
viable.

I daresay at some point in the next 18months,several of those battered Aim
Gold producers will move so fast, that possibly missing the month it happens,
will be remembered by many that lost the foresight.

We can only hope Norseman is around for what is surely inevitably coming,as most certainly the Chinese alone have many tonnes to get hold of to get beyond their 2%.
If others follow-where is all the Gold going to come from ?.

IMHO.

Judging by the line:
there will be insufficient moneys to pay any dividend to employee priority creditors .....
I would say we're sunk.

In addition the administrator seems to be paying one group of valuers to value the other valuers, more cash going out and doesn't give good impression of the administrator. In particular unless someone is willing to invest to get it out of the ground I can't see he can say that gold in the ground is readily saleable.
The only way for him to realise something I would have thought would have been to use the protection from creditors period to get back to churning out the gold, I get the impression that was more what the directors had in mind as well.

This coming merger between Jubilee Platinum and Platinum Australia has similarities to the present position of Norseman Gold Limited:

b) When major investor who has also been promoting company and son's fund also holds and promotes (Slaters) bales out, consider following suit ASAP.

Thankfully that's exactly what I did.

Game over as I suspected.

Lessons learnt:
a) Gold mine(r)s are very risky
b) When major investor who has also been promoting company and son's fund also holds and promotes (Slaters) bales out, consider following suit ASAP.

TW's record of investing is awful...period..NGL the latest in a catalogue of disasters .He ought to just follow EK rather than fleece novice investors by charging them subscriptions.

TW in his article chooses not to discuss the debt and the order of the unsecured debtors: A factor I believe is very important and the reason there have been extended delays.
I'm also uncertain of the position as to Tulla paying the administrators costs and whether Harlequin ongoing development costs are included.
I remain confident that both NGL/ASX:NGX will continue as will subsidiary Norseman Gold Limited. As to a share value for NGL or even cash left over: That is a guess too far for now.
Hope it works out for investors -- good fortune.

I suppose we could say that if they are holding an AGM,
there is at least something to discuss.

I note from TW`s blog that they have been preparing Harlequin
and "a new open pit".

Whilst it can only be taken as hearsay - I wonder what that new open pit could be,and of course- "is it producing any positive results !?

I am sure we all do-as we await the next chapter.

We shall have to wait and see----obviously!

"If" they do get the Chinese onboard and can flag up Harlequin
as coming back into action, then I know I would buy more on that,
as the Chinese influence in putting right-what they have been getting wrong-
would be the Catalyst for me.

For others-I suppose sentiment towards Gold at the time of this possibly
being unsupended would be key for them,so let`s hope We have a choice.

The potential upside for Maloney, as opposed to appearing to have failed,
is huge- if things go the right way,and of course whilst at this point
its hard to predict the price of Gold,we can only consider there is of course
a price at which the most hopless operations, and priced for hopeless, would
be the winners.

If they do "get it right", then TW won't be a prat in my book.

(Perhaps it just takes one to know one!)
