Yes, I've got shares in all three - AVR, SGI and NBL. Not too sure what the net net of this is for me if it does go through...

Woooaahhh!!!

I've always thought NBL and SGI would make a good tie-up.

I guess this explains the recent run-up in the NBL share price to just under the 255p cash/shares offer.

Growth business, excellent management. Quatari payout(when it arrives)worth 14p per share excluding costs. ST says NBL worth 250p per share.

IC still rates NBL a buy, despite interims that I must admit I found a bit disappointing as I read through them. Shows how much I know though.

Welcome inclusion of NBL in the Investors Chronicle "Bargain shares 2013" today, although there's no update on the ""well-known Qatari collector"...

An interesting acquisition announced today; the terms will take a bit of analysis to see how good they are for NBL...

My initial thought, for what it's worth, is that this widening of the auction facilities seems to indicate the desired direction of travel - i.e. less on retail, more on auctions for a more diverse range of collectibles and valuables.

What do others think?
