Posted at 21/10/2013 13:49 by dashton42 Another Simon Thompson update on the SGI/NBL tie-up, for those with access to Investors Chronicle, suggesting that NBL shareholders accept the offer: |
Posted at 26/9/2013 06:46 by dashton42 Well, the offer - now confirmed - is at around 255p per share. I guess it depends on your time horizon; for me, I think the tie-up is compelling from a strategic point of view, as the enlarged company will become a one-stop destination for collectables of all sorts, and may be able to start taking some of Ebay's market share (and cut some costs from the combined entity).ST's article in IC was arguing more from an SGI perspective - that there was an arbitrage opportunity of about 16% in buying the shares. |
Posted at 16/9/2013 14:08 by dashton42 Simon Thompson (Investors Chronicle) gives an update on the proposed offer for NBL by SGI today: |
Posted at 12/9/2013 07:57 by dashton42 Yes, I've got shares in all three - AVR, SGI and NBL. Not too sure what the net net of this is for me if it does go through... |
Posted at 12/9/2013 06:31 by dashton42 Woooaahhh!!!I've always thought NBL and SGI would make a good tie-up. I guess this explains the recent run-up in the NBL share price to just under the 255p cash/shares offer. |
Posted at 02/9/2013 11:58 by dashton42 Simon Thompson (Investors Chronicle) gives an update on NBL today, towards the bottom of this article:His "...price target of 250p is likely to prove conservative". |
Posted at 06/8/2013 14:34 by hieronymous1 -bubbleFine Art Group kicks in full years profits next year, EPS 2014 forecast at 20p (WH Ireland), net cash now 25p per share, offices and coins acquired with Baldwin seven years ago in accounts at book value (revaluation adds £3.6m), NAV now 145p a share. Growth business, excellent management. Quatari payout(when it arrives)worth 14p per share excluding costs. ST says NBL worth 250p per share. |

Posted at 05/8/2013 06:30 by jeanesy2 Strange to get an announcemement. The share price hasn't fallen that much imo ?! |
Posted at 09/12/2010 09:05 by greek islander Yes NBL share price a bit disappointing - seems to have wallowed since I bought in. However I am here for the long term and shall be patient. Though this is my only recent buy that has not risen substantially.OT was tipped S African coal miner SNRP yesterday and have just bought in. Looks to be under most people's radar despite a surge in the share price these last few days. Have studied the financials and it looks massively undervalued - could triple and still be a good bet. DYOR but happy to pass the tip on here. |
