Those few shares that came on the market got soaked up pretty quick and the bid is back to 750.

The marketmakers seem to have got to grips with the share movement and liquidity now.

We have 4 market makers but I think around 90% of the business is going to Winterfloods and N+1 Singer. Winterfloods spread now seems to have stabilised at 50 and N+1 have now matched them at 50 as well. Clearly they are dealing within the spread making the actual spread in the real world much less, usually 3-5%, still more than I would like but an improvement from a year ago and heading in the right direction.

Yeah like you said it'll have been a split up buy. 7pc was ridiculous in a day without any news. Stupid to add but it'll come back to me I'm sure.

Actually the trades suggest a higher spread anyway. Tommorow should be interesting.

Don't worry that's just what happens immediately after I add to a holding. They have my details on file.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a place on a prestigious framework creating improved efficiency in public sector construction.

The new Pagabo Medium Works Framework is a national framework specialising in public sector procurement for construction projects with individual values of up to £10m. We have been awarded a place on lots two and three, to cover projects across Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The national Pagabo Framework is aimed at enabling public sector construction projects to overcome traditional barriers which can lead to delays in public sector procurement.

John Homer, Chief Executive, said: “We’re committed to helping our clients find better ways of working and to overcome some of the traditional difficulties faced by public sector construction projects.

“Being part of this framework will enable us to do things differently and demonstrate once again our expertise in delivering a wide range of high-quality public sector projects and are reflective of our strong ambitions for growth.”

Pagabo chief executive Simon Toplass said: “The Medium Works Framework sits firmly within our impressive family of construction frameworks that consider construction as a service and not just as a product.

“We constantly hear from our clients that they’re not just buying a building, but they want a service that gets them to the outcomes they want. Medium Works, like all of our frameworks, simplifies the process but considers how the client wants to procure, their timings, speed of appointment and ‘on-time’; delivery.”

The Pagabo framework will run for three years and we are committed to compliance with the requirements of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) including for financial performance, health and safety, equality and diversity and working practices.

Well

1. FACT - the insiders aren't selling. (we know this as almost no-one is selling)
2. CONJECTURE - the trading update is now much later than last year. There might be a reason
3. CONJECTURE- the market cap. has now reached £75m. We have discussed this before and whilst none of us really know at what market cap the trackers start buying, I am sure some of them must by now be picking up a few. The low liquidity is forcing them to pay the full price every time
4. FACT - the company is just doing really well, sales and margins are going up and they have long of frameworks providing work regardless of Brexit
5. CONJECTURE - if you wanted to pick up a decent sized construction company NMNC would be attractive in that it has no skeletons in the closet, has a variety of fixed assets, a load of cash, no debt and no pension deficit. I don't think it's very likely at this point in the economic cycle

No. 1 is the most important to me right now.

I've added today as I've hit 50% profit on this one and stopped out of a loss maker. Must be telling me something!

Or just very tightly held and lots of demand? IMO ive always felt this was under rated so IMO this is only the deserved re rating to some degree

750 on the bid now. Maybe it has something to do with this:

Most of the trades today are 5k lumps or so as if someone wants in but can't get decent size and they are breaking it up as they have no other way.

My instincts tell me something is up here.

Just looked at their careers site. They have 10 pages of jobs open (100 in total!). Looked on LinkedIn jobs and they are all fairly recently posted... (last 30 days). Bodes very well indeed... that’s a lot of vacancies though

In the interests of transparency I’ve sold my profits. It hit my target price of 7.20 so I’m keen to stay relatively disciplined. It Basically feels like a risk free ride now! Let’s see where this goes. Here was my analysis back in 2017 (when I had time to blog!): nothing better than the perfect analysis! hxxp://moneygenerationxyz.com/stock-moment-north-midland-construction/
