Oil gathering pace, Gulf of Mexico offline Hur Nate. Brent at $56 - which is a miracle considering everything (wti someway behind..) :0). Every little helps..

A reply from Hawk re Snowbird..

Thank you for your inquiry. The Snowbird injection well is currently injecting. The incident you refer to was very minor and only required 1 day of work to correct.

Getting the Oil reserve down is key Phil for Oil markets, US oilers probably couldnt respond quickly enough. OPEC needs to maintain restrictions until Dec 2018 imv. Who knows....?!$#€!I think Hawk will be quiet for a month or two (although August figures will out next week 45 day +), then I think this lull, will see Hawk gathering data, production figures, WF data & looking at reserve opportunities and seeing if they can stimulate financial support based on them making money on current T/over, but them having debt. & Every $1 change helps.... What would you do Phil?

RR...well if the Saudi's do carry out what is suggested,
a)will the US increase their production?
b)will WTI increase? The gap between WTI and Brent has increased to approx $6 currently...it would help if WTI was closer to Brent!!

Hawk is definitely still going (I hope you kept some Mall)..and with Opec circling for action in Nov. I can see the permit for above well was submitted 29/9/17 for reconstruction work on the well.
Partridge on lse had reference to it some weeks ago, but I could not find it

Hopefully it will be worth the cost involved!!!
