What is interesting within the WF Update will be the future forecasts based on trends to date.

They put stake in the ground suggesting the equivalent of 8-10 new Spergen wells .. which sits around an additional 800-1000 BOPD. Add that to the 1050 current, takes us over 2000 BOD with a revised decline curve and deeper recovery estimates.

I've crunched some numbers on that basis and I reckon it transforms the economics with POO at $50-$60 a barrel.

The real win would be to get the share price to 3p on that outcome and then sound out investors to take on an equity raise say in the 4p range to clear the bank finance and raise fresh cash for development.

Appetite for O&G shares has increased significantly recently and especially if they can clean up the balance sheet, eliminate debt and become EBITDA positive.

On that basis the free cash thrown off (plus a lump sum) could then get HAWK back into serious growth mode.

We have a 76% WI in the monarch area having just nailed a 200 BOD well ... that is interesting to follow up and also high up on the agenda should be to re-visit the horizontal well that's permitted.

If you get a decent result on that, then HAWK will fly.

It just needs the building blocks to come together and then some really good execution of a balance sheet clean up. The assets are substantial with new cash to invest and a debt free HAWK would be very attractive indeed for institutions

At 1.32p, this is an opportunity to get in very early on the turnaround story

News to drive the share price up that chart:

1) Waterflood RNS
2) Reserves Redetermination with increased production & POO
3) Re-finance - either through new facility or equity injection at a premium (like TRIN)

That lot could well see us blast through the 3's towards the upper targets

Only patience required ....
