As I said I do hold a small amount here bought about a month back. I think some of you guys should take a look at TRIN too. Which is my largest holding. Market cap of just £17m today. Producing about 2600bopd at all in cost of about $29.After the recent restructuring their debt is just $9m in total. They also hold some of the most valuable licences in Trinidad and Tobago and last year turn down a $17m offer for one of their licences.Is a no brainer at 6.5p today. Will rerate once placing overhang clears.Dyor always.

Think they're in a strengthening position with the bank Chesty.
Rick did state last year that they may replace the current CBA arrangement this year.

Further thought

The $3bbl saving is a direct cost not a variable cost.

Consensus here is for 650K bbls in 2017

That's nearly a $2m cost saving - that pays for 2/3rd of the WF cost

That cost saving should not be underestimated at all

Imo injection would not commence until workover on Blackcomb well had been completed.... Thanks Rick & Co.
Great saving on transport cost of over $3 P barrel.
I would assume they already have figures for WF to keep bank happy, but roll on the next update, which should give us an idea.
Should see us well and truly Blue today!!

Yep, things about to happen Phil.
I've done some reading, in particular the RNS dated 1st Aug which contains all the new financial arrangements.
The Co would prefer that the new note holders convert their loan notes into shares rather that take repayment of the loans - due October 17.
The price at which they can convert is 1p per share.
The Co will therefore be very much hoping that this offers a significant discount to them at that time.
From reading the Aug 1st RNS I am even more certain that the existing banking arrangements are being renewed.
It's the only thing left to do before take off and it will ignite the share price

So the JV is live and Hawk has a 50/50 interest in all of the remaining acreage !
We also have a 25% interest in the producing well Monarch 15 where we are currently carrying out a workover.
So in the end the JV may prove to be financially beneficial - from memory I think we spent circa $10m.

It is additional security with the bank - which takes me back to my belief that new financing, which will fund all plans for 2017, is being put in place.

I've held during the past two years so might as well increase my stake for what I now see as a rapid recovery coming.
