28/1/2017 14:32 | That's the problem....if rig count increases then opec will just flood the market again. I'm more interested in what Trump will do for us oil companies. | balbains324
28/1/2017 11:41 | I know we were on a low last year, but the drill trend has reversed!! we are now 93 rigs up from this time last year, the total number of rigs in US is currently 712, up 18 rigs over the last week. Source Baker Hughes U.S. 27 January 2017 712 +18 20 January 2017 +93 29 January 2016 | philmac56
27/1/2017 19:51 | Thus far, Rick has been Fuseless. Hopefully our fortunes will change | blakieboy7
27/1/2017 18:47 | I too don't believe Rick has done a great job but I'm pretty confident that WF will be a success. My thoughts are to what extent will it be a success. | lptuf93
27/1/2017 16:09 | Not any comments today!!! I think we are all a little bewildered with the absence of any company update? Reasons may be of course that it is not allowed whilst discussions are taking place! This appears ready to explode or is that implode?!? Can only hope that the oil in place is seeping out at an ever increasing rate. Perhaps the middle of next week will be the jumping offff point for a summer bonanza$$ | maxwell
26/1/2017 14:33 | Could be a steeper rise than you suggest Phil .... the noteholders ($3m) can call in their loans in October this year. The Company has stated that it would prefer the noteholders to take up the alternative option of converting to shares and have offered an incentive price of 1p per share. The Company will therefore need to be offering an attractive discount from the share price at that time to make a debt / share swap attractive. Surely they will be aiming for an share price of at least 3p probably more. If the Noteholders elect to convert to shares at 1p each then this will enlarge the no of issued shares by 18% | mallorca 9
26/1/2017 13:21 | Rjc...I doubt very much that we will hit 1500bopd in Jan, Feb or even March. We have a natural water flow which will help WF, but imo, we will not see a jump as you suggest, possibly a slight increase on Dec, with a continuation of rise, month by month. | philmac56
26/1/2017 12:28 | Don't forget 2 wells in WF area, are now injection wells, whilst a third well is possibly still being worked on. | philmac56
26/1/2017 12:08 | During November 2016, certain wells were not in production as they were being worked over in conjunction with the Arikaree Creek Pilot water flood project. As shown in the table above, production had resumed on those wells in the second half of December. ...but not by much if you look at the numbers... 50 bopd increase for the month so possibly 100bopd for the second half of dec. shouldn't the figures have gone back to the Oct levels - which were considerably higher? The January figure, with WF, needs to be above 1500 bopd to give any confidence. Personally I think they added ytd 2017 figures (1439) by mistake in the first RNS. Ytd makes no sense for 2016 figures.... They are final figures for 2016 and ytd for 2017. | rjcdc
26/1/2017 11:59 | Ah, a correction. Who knew? | rjcdc
26/1/2017 09:25 | The work overs and other bills take considerable monthly outlay and with a damm lot of interest necessary petty cash will not last long. Needs a greatly increased influx of cash per maximum oil output soonest...... | maxwell
26/1/2017 09:24 | reallyrich agreed. m9 I didn't say WF had failed, I said "if" Agreed HAWK's position is perhaps a little stronger with WTI price increase, balanced against a fall in production from 1600bopd 2015 v 1100 bopd 2016. What level of production generated by the WF (bopd basis)would be enough to give confidence to CBA to refinance the debt? An extra 1000bopd and is that feasible? | sleveen
26/1/2017 09:16 | Having put up $3m (plus the previous legal costs) to facilitate 'Chuck's WF, I cannot believe that he would still be there had it not been successful. I'm sure we'll get a January daily average figure before too long. With the workovers and WF, plus the raised oil price and hedging, we should now be able to get the necessary financial headroom. By the way , we are also now cash positive , ie I noticed that our cash balance had increased (excluding WF funds). We now hold in the region of $2m in cash at bank. | mallorca 9
26/1/2017 09:01 | What Sleveen is saying is that if the WF has not achieved anywhere near the success that is needed then things wont look good, At this point we just dont know how well it is doing. Forecasts are one thing (ask michael fish) real life can sometimes be different | reallyrich
26/1/2017 08:51 | I would add ... at the current sp, and given all the recent progress made any money spent on WF and workovers etc, the risk / reward is massively in our favour, even for those who just want a short term punt. | mallorca 9
26/1/2017 08:47 | sleeve, WF hasn't failed , its up and running. Production will ramp up from this Month. Everyone should realise that Hawk's position is so much stronger than it was 12 months ago - they appear to have survived by the skin of their teeth and through great tenacious effort - many went under. The current CBA deal is being replaced with the long term and increased financing to develop the business on all fronts over the coming years - including shale. | mallorca 9
26/1/2017 08:30 | PS It's not the first time they've had to issue corrected figures. | sleveen
26/1/2017 08:29 | M9 ..."If WF had failed then Chuck would not still be with the Company."... If the WF fails HAWK will cease to exist. IMHO | sleveen
26/1/2017 08:26 | Yes the word "Sloppy" comes to mind. Also means that it may well cause problems dealing with any Bank who now will have legal fellows checking every damm statement plus taking treble the time to agree if tea or coffee and if milk and maybe sugar or not...... You get the gist........... | maxwell
26/1/2017 08:21 | There's no excuse for these kinds of errors IMO | blakieboy7
26/1/2017 08:08 | Mallorca Sorry but it annoys me that these are not checked by someone else other than the writer!! Rant over | philmac56
26/1/2017 07:53 | Phil, chill, everything is going well. | mallorca 9
26/1/2017 07:48 | Do they use:- A) PC... Spreadsheet? B) calculator? C) abucus? D) fingers? To count?? These Swedes must be pulling their hair out!!! If they have any left. Head(s) may roll!! | philmac56
26/1/2017 07:47 | Phil, yes the original RNS was put out with poor attention to detail and has now been corrected. I would think that both Rick and Chuck are pretty busy at the moment. All this RNS was intended to do was to add in the December detail. From January onwards is what matters. If WF had failed then Chuck would not still be with the Company. New long term financing arrangements are being put in place and that will be very detailed. We'll learn about the WF impact when the January figure is released. reallyrich ... buy a shed load of these mate - I want you to make a fortune. | mallorca 9 |
