Cashandcard

As you say, finding the cash for further drilling is a problem, and given that it is an intergral part of proving up the acreage and onwards to their stated aim of a sale, they might be looking at "farming" as a solution. Getting someone in who had the resources to do horizontals has potential I would have thought.

Morning all

The future holds.....

Fingers crossed that the pilot works as forecast!!

Possiility that Knutson family may see what they are losing out of, and then get a change of heart/thought/lose of revenue!!!!

Poo slowly rises to $60, just as water flood comes on !one.

Rf case thrown out.

The two jv wells were postponed by mutual agreement of both parties until 30th September.

Another blue day.

OK Jon C thanks for your advice. If I listened to all your bull then I wouldn't be making a profit here today. Thanks again.

The company is drowning in debt.

There is nothing left for shareholders.

Recognise this and move on.

Some naturally would have sold into spike plus t-traders too. Give us a real opportunity to see shareholder value being restored. Doubling of production with water floods coming on stream. Also, I think the awkward landholder will now prob see common sense and wouldn't surprise me if we in the near term saw move on that front..Note the increase in the facility despite all that hawk have been through so I suspect after some v real DD..

Why is everyone gutted by the price movement.

It's up & we are still in play, if it surged we would have the old AIM spike walk it up there & make everyone happy.

Spikes are no good for anybody ( unless your lucky enough to get out at the top.

from our court case as of Wednesday 29th June, now on Motion 126

ORDER: This matter comes before the Court on the reserved portion of the Defendants76 Motion for Summary Judgment. In its March 30, 2013 Order110 , the Court reserved ruling on the motion as to the Plaintiff's claim for breach of the implied duty of good faith and fair dealing. The Court gave the parties notice of its intent to grant the motion as to that claim on grounds not raised by the Defendant and granted the Plaintiff an opportunity to submit additional evidence. The Plaintiff has filed a120 Response indicating that it does not intend to submit additional evidence. Accordingly, the Defendants76 Motion for Summary Judgment is GRANTED with respect to Plaintiffs claim for breach of the implied duty of good faith and fair dealing, for the reasons specified in the110 March 30, 2016 Order. by Chief Judge Marcia S. Krieger on 06/29/2016. Text Only Entry (msklc3, )

let us not get carried away. Fundamentally still have issues and oil price still has a long way to go to get past the hedging scenario. Paying interest monthly also means they will need to make sure they have the production to meet the monthly costs. I am of the opinion it is monthly so that the bank can see some income. Nothing today has given us anything to move the share price. Maybe in 6 months time we can take a more long term view. I remain unimpressed and think management need clearing out.

Ronald,With no new drilling, the waterflood should form the basis of a sustaining production and cashflow stream for the company going forwards, enough to service interest etc. With hedging and good marketing, a floor level for sometime. The question is how do they plan to grow and what happens to Monarch JV?Cash

Just looking at the cashflow implications of this and working on the assumption that we are able to sell non-hedged oil for $45 and hedged for $61 (which may or may not be a reasonable view) and using costs based upon the latest years figures, we should be clearing just under $460,000 per month less interest payments of now $115,000 per month which means that we should be okay financially. Add then the expected waterflood impact to those figures (we are issuing loan notes to cover the Capital cost so no Revenue cost implications) and by late summer/early autumn we should be once again very nicely profitable. Off course you have the maturity of a variety of loans/notes some way down the track but one step at a time......

Great news - the pretty awful Q1 rbl determination has been ironed out in Q2 (higher op). Waterflood go-ahead means the first chance of some serious additional oil production & cashflow. My only question now is what about remaining Monarch JV obligation wells? Are they to be drilled or will hawk pay the penalty?Cash

Opened at 0.98/0.99 to buy and latest at 1.25/1.28 to buy so let it continue
plus the $price of oil keep increasing, also volume promised to increase soon can only help.

Trying to get an handle on the future using Back of a Beer Mat Numbers

RNS 10 March 2016 Water Floods
“This engineering projection shows monthly production rates to more than double the current production under primary recovery for up to the next 5 years.”

RNS 28 June 2016 Daily Average Production currently
Net production is based upon Nighthawk's Net Revenue Interest of approximately 82% roughly 1,100 pd

Double Income at over 2,200 net per day is more than useful. The costs, fighting my way through the 2 June Final results and adding the new requirements, don't appear too awful. Keep Calm and Carry On it may work !!!
