income buy, no doubt. testing s=120p this week. Nothing to worry about unless it pops down beneath the old resistance mark.

From the days of LGD this guy (ydderF) has consistantly proved to be dishonest and manipulative.Don't see why he would change now.

Freddy, I see they closed today at 124-126. So have you been buying all the way down from the 140s, or have you miraculously been able to purchase 2.99% at 60p ?

Only just this once, I'd like to see a bit of transparency in your huffing and puffing.

If the move to AIM goes ahead, this means that NICL will not be ISA'able, and furthermore, if you already have it in an ISA (like I do) you will have to sell!
This can be a pain. Happened with Radamec, and coincided with a low point in the price!!

Some end of year clearing out today, but IMHO, when people set up their 2004/5 ISAs, NICL should feature, if only for income.

No quite sure how the move to AIM would affect the share price. In the meantime the divi looks rather tasty!

better than expected EPS

Nichols plc, the soft drinks, food and foodservice group, announces its

The group has two principal operations:

Results due 25/26th March on 2003/4; should show beginnings of benefit from restructuring of activities, plus good summer effect on Vimto.
Dividend increase would be an effective show of confidence from the Board.
On the other hand.....
Any views?

broken out of 140p....if we take the period between 130 and 140p as a flag, we should see 170p-175p now -nice return

We'll need to see some firm evidence that the strategy review and site rationalisation are bearing fruit, before there is significant upside, but that would underpin the dividend, which should produce some buying interest (IMHO)
Vimto quite prominant in my local Tesco and I noticed Vimto spread (new to me!)
Perhaps the marketing team are getting their act together, building on the good summer.
News today that Supermarkets are going to be pushing price competition does not bode well.
Still holding and looking to top up, modestly, to get the divi.

Hopefully the froth has now died away. Buying today gets the dividend and, fingers crossed, a bounce off the 50 day m.a.

Good luck to all holders

Good write up in Mail on Sunday, citing both dividend security and the potential for capital growth over the coming 12 months.
Roll on the results!
