Debt greatly reduced at a time of rising interest rates - must be good news!

This definately appears to be one to take beyond the grave with its AIM listing.

recent purchase seems to have gone down well...2005 off to a bright start....we should see £2 soon enough.

LONDON (AFX) - Nichols PLC said it bought the children's soft drink brand
Panda from Dorset-based brewer Hall & Woodhouse Ltd for 5.5 mln stg.
The acquisition also includes the Popzone concept of 'pick and mix', which
is retailed through supermarkets.
Panda has annual sales of 11.5 mln stg and the acquisition will be a
significant boost to Nichols' soft drinks business, which had sales of 27.5 mln
stg in 2003.
Chairman John Nichols said: "Following the recent sale of Nichols Foods, it
confirms our intention to continue to grow our core soft drinks business.
"We already have a number of exciting marketing initiatives and new product
developments planned for the Panda range to ensure its continuing growth in the
coming months."
Nichols sold its food business for 11.63 mln stg in November last year to
concentrate on its soft drinks business, which comprises Vimto and Sunkist, and
its beverage systems operations, which comprise soft drinks on draught and hot
beverage systems.

could be right flc

value investing is great 'cos it's lazy -find the compnay, buy it, and wait until valueis realised. Then it's abit of work whilst you find somewhere to put your profit. Only problem -it's sometimes a long wait.

That's why I have my racy stocks -to add needed adrenalin

Artful - you won't have to hold too long because the Nichols family are lining this up for a sale. All IMHO of course
