Meta Platforms Inc. tripled its profit and posted sharply higher revenue in the final quarter of 2023, boosted by a rebound in digital advertising as well cost cutting and layoffs in what CEO Mark Zuckerberg called the “year of efficiency.”

I would guess the drop was on the back of Alphabet results and the sell off on the Nasdaq.

Hopefully they have loaded up on the buyback today as they have been only too happy to buy 130K lots around 210.

The new court documents are very encouraging and suggest something of an open and shut case, with LG executives desperately trying to cover their obvious wrong doing.

Nothing and neither have the previous buybacks.

Classic example of a divi is for the best for the shareholder but buyback best for mngmt. Keep those 6 monthly block listing going followed by buybacks reducing cash on the balance sheet (so as to minimise the chance of a t/o) and bingo we got our snout in the trough...and can feed happily!

Game set and match then (fingers crossed behind my back etc) - has it really taken 3 years to drag all this out. Anyway hopefully our legal team can progress this to resolution now.

Over 2.5 Million shares repurchased.
Change in share price = Minimal.

The stock doesn't grow on trees
I cannot believe for a minute it is retail sellers.
