17/12/2011 06:44 | There has to be a firm reason why the new directors hav ebeen brought in and the others kicked out, eventhough they have managed to bring costs back under control. One would imagine 2012 will be a year change for Nexus. | berny3
16/12/2011 20:59 | I really don't want to sound cynical and hope that my fears are misplaced. I can't help asking myself: what are these new directors aiming to do and get out of their new relationship with Nexus. They are hard headed business men/accountants.Is it to buy it out cheap-at shareholders expense and then build it up a bit before Avisen flogs it to the highest bidder? | gombie
16/12/2011 14:00 | sweepie2 - it will happen one day. That magic moment when you think you are looking at the wrong stock because that price couldn't possibly be for NXS could it? Don't see it happening soon though but happy to wait. | marab
16/12/2011 13:18 | A week after the trading statement and there is little interest, was hoping for some follow up from the TS but no luck. Wouldn't think there will be anything else until results | sweepie2
13/12/2011 15:26 | Certainly things seem to be turning slowly for the better at NXS but a long way to go before they gain my trust. | sweepie2
13/12/2011 15:15 | Surprised they didn't announce that they launched a new web site yesterday,easy to navigate | sweepie2
12/12/2011 15:27 | Selling or buying completely dried up, awaiting developments with more interest this time around | sweepie2
12/12/2011 15:00 | Could you provide a link to that Tlps report as it does sound like hype but last weeks news was rarely some good news for NXS so who knows. Not surprised with todays mini spike and then decline, there are lots of people who are stale holders and would love a chance like this to dump NXS. I was one but I would like to see where the new BODs will take us even with the chance of a profits warning next year | sweepie2
12/12/2011 14:26 | TW has too much of a personal interest to be anything other than biased, this is the nature of the beast. At this price, the downside is not too great but it remains. I would be happy to have a small punt on these but will wait to see if they revisit 0.2p there's lots of other opportunities out there at this time. | chrissey
12/12/2011 10:55 | 20% at today's value would cost the investor £720,000. Sounds as though he must keen and will pay a premium north of £1,000,000. In which case, he has to want a seat on the Board as well. Let's hope he has deep pockets to take Nexus into new territory. | bishopawn
12/12/2011 10:14 | Talk is cheap as we have seen in the past from TW | argy2
12/12/2011 09:47 | The T1ps report is an interesting read. Diffilcult to ascertain how much is hype. But he does mention that a third party has requested to take on his 20% holding at a price North of where we currently are. If that is the case it is significant. Pinch of salt and all that. | berny3
12/12/2011 08:57 | The savings in costs have already made a big difference. Anything else would just be a bonus. Maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and maybe this time it isn't a train coming. | marab
11/12/2011 17:24 | 1/11/2011 RNS: "The New Directors bring a considerable public company experience and specialise in the area of cost control with a proven ability to seek out earnings enhancing acquisitions to help companies achieve critical mass. The search for suitable acquisitions is already underway. The Company's results for the year to 30 September 2011 will be published in late November, at which point the Company will give a further update on the strategic review now underway." -------------------- Perhaps the strategic review update should be shortly OR has their search for suitable acquisitions (which has been underway for some time)reached some kind of conclusion/choice, and that is what they will announce? | bishopawn
11/12/2011 17:15 | I'll second that. | bishopawn
10/12/2011 15:58 | Have I missed something? I thought we were due a strategy update. Figures inline with expectations. Cutting of costs delivering a good improvement in margins. I would like to know what the future plans are. | berny3
09/12/2011 18:30 | Suspect they are not very confident about contract renewal.Shame the former management were removed given all the work they have done. | argy2
09/12/2011 18:12 | Looks like cost saving has reduced problems, so that is something, but an operating profit is very far from a profit on the bottom line. Wonder what the final number will be this time, hopefully only marginal loss which is what I expect, not much change in the cash position I note. Having watched from the sidelines the problems of MUBL, over reliance on one key customer has massive dangers and NXS imho urgently need that contract they mention. | microscope
09/12/2011 17:57 | Just looked at the time it was released, weird usually only walking disasters storys are released at this time but this news compared with what must of us expected was OK. Any ideas? | sweepie2
09/12/2011 17:32 | Wonder why they brought it forward, maybe we were going to get a mention in the week end media? | sweepie2
09/12/2011 17:18 | Yes done alot better than what I thought or the market thought BUT it does look like they are positioning themselfs to announce a profits warning in the first half of the current year as they have never announced a client contract review. Can't be too confident about renewing the contract? Also nothing about any IT security sales. As good as what the update was I wouldn't chase them not until the outcome of the contract renewal is known | sweepie2 |
