Through its new subsidiary Resilience Technology Corporation, Nexus provides bullet-proof network security.

Resilience has since 1985 delivered network security appliances with the most
advanced operating system. RES/OS boasts such features as open systems
flexibility and life cycle management innovations for mission-critical
applications. Resilience's high performance solutions are designed for network
environments where availability is essential and security must not be
compromised.

Last December we got a large contract for Resilience firewalls from a UK blue chip company believed to be in telecommunications. Could we get another one in December 2011, this time from the USA?

I just love rising price graphs me.

I have no idea whether any good news will come out when the trading statement is released in a couple of weeks but its reassuring to hear that they are adding to their head count must be certain that they have revenue to cover increase

New directors having an effect, I suggest that just maybe there might be news to go along with the statement, don't think we would have got this release with the old directors

Action Stations!
Fill ya'boots, fasten yer' seatbelts, and hold on to yer' hats, to use a few rampers' cliches. Impressively and perhaps tellingly, nothing has leaked. The already advanced search for a target acquisition even before the announcement of three significant and useful new directors coming on board on 1st November is another indication of a good bit of planning behind the scenes, none of which could be happening without a decent profit being announced tomorrow. On that solid foundation critical mass can be achieved and I understand that to mean a Nexus with a capitalisation of atleast £6 million, or double the current valuation. There could be any number of AIM companies out there who have not done particularly well on AIM with its high charges who would do much better with Nexus; with cost cutting being T1ps' stated priority for Nexus, all will be revealed in the fullness of time.

Good luck.

The Resilence Products are winners on both effectivenss and cost, plus over the last two years company balance sheets have become very healthy and they now have the cash to go get a better protection for their business network, plus US government departments will want value for money when it comes to multiple orders. Thus Nexus with its wholly owned subsidiary Resilience USA, Berny has rightly noted, is in the right market.

Here is a wee bit of technicality from the Resilience Website for those so inclined:-

How iHA /ation makes planned network disruptions unnecessary.

With ordinary HA, planned downtime for administration, recovery and upgrades causes hours if not days of non-availability. Resilience's self-configuring modules and RESlink connectivity let users hot swap replacement modules and perform rolling hardware and software upgrades in the field, in minutes, with little or no disruption to active firewalls. Simply connect a replacement or upgrade module and power it up. The active module configures the new module without human intervention or error. Resilience iHA security appliances effectively eliminate unplanned and planned network outages for Five Nines availability.

Three levels of iHA scale availability to users' financial needs

You can configure Resilience security appliances for any of three levels of iHA to meet a variety of availability and economic challenges: iHA with Cluster XL, iHA and iHA Ready.

iHA with Cluster XL – the ultimate availability

If your organization can tolerate zero discontinuity in session, Resilience offers iHA with Cluster XL. This two module, two-license architecture provides full state failover with no loss of session and supports all Cluster XL configurations.

iHA Ready – Ready for iHA when you are

Where economy is the driving factor, Resilience offers robust Secured By Check Point™ security appliances in single-module, single Check Point license configurations. Users can upgrade from iHA Ready to iHA with /atic failover by adding a second module.

Integrated High Availability from Resilience delivers the highest level of availability during normal operation as well as during administration, recovery and upgrades. With Resilience's Continuous Secured Ownership WarrantySM ensuring the longest product life in the industry, Resilience security appliances give new meaning to the word "available."

IHA integrates HA across all layers for 99.99% availability or 5 minutes of outage per year. Standard HA monitors one layer for 99.9% uptime, or over 500 minutes of network outage each year.

bishopawn "Personally, I cannot see them issuing any new shares for an acquisition at a price below 0.6 pence." I wouldn't bet on that if TW is involved, but at least we have the prospect of a bit of action at last.

Take it to the wire....they must be trying to sort something out in the closing hours. The company is certainly in the right Market we just need them to deliver the right product. Time will tell but BP your enthusiasm keeps me smiling.

The Company's results for the year to 30 September 2011 will be published in late November, at which point the Company will give a further update on the strategic review now underway.

They obviously meant what they said.............LATE November.

Personally, I cannot see them issuing any new shares for an acquisiton at a price below 0.6 pence. Hopefully, it will be higher than that on the back of good news on profitability and new contracts.

The process of acquisition gathering can hardly be possible, in my opinion, with the share price at the current low level. I can only conclude that the strategy will include a higher share price BEFORE any "cash and part shares" purchase of any acquisition. The drive could be in the figures to be announced this coming week AND that followed by a large contract for bullet-proof Firewalls from Resilience from the US Government and/or a multi-national company.

You may well be right as might TW but to be fair he has been saying that about NXS for as long as I can remember. I suspect many t1ps subscribers are down some 90-95% on their investment, if not more, based on his many ramps. I have been a holder for some time although thankfully got in after most of the fall. Let's hope eventually he will call it right and then sit back and wait for his 'I did say' comments.

A determined Tom at T1ps said:-

"Nexus needs to find a complementary acquisition to give it critical mass. Work is well underway on this. But first the costs come out. Hanke, Yeoman and Battles know what to do and have a track record of delivery ( look at what Z Group was when they came on board and what it is now - Avisen).

4. Expect more changes over the next six months and for swift action to be taken at Nexus.

Nexus - for what it's worth - is in my view now very cheap indeed. Buy."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My bit of research on Avisen for what it is worth:-
Avisen(formerly known as Z Group) was acquired by a defunct (shell presumably) Availeon and was admitted to AIM on 2nd February 2009.

Marchus Hanke being on board, there was a very active period of repeated acquisitions during the remainder of 2009, four acquisitions in all:- on the following dates: 27th Feb....27th April......9th July and 17th July.

Looking at the Chart for 2009, the Avisen share price rose rapidly and went from 0 to 17 pence in the first half of 2009 and stayed about 15 pence most of that year.

Avisen and Nexus Management are very different companies, so there is no guarantee of a similar share performance with Marcus Hanke on board. But wouldn't it be great to see a series of acquisitions taking place in 2012, and generating interest and even excitement for shareholders after a torrid time of it.

We shall see if Tom is right in his predictions of more changes in the next 6 months and swift action to be taken.

I think he knows more than he is letting on, when he says "Nexus (...) is in my view now VERY CHEAP INDEED. BUY."

But there has been precious evidence of buying lately. May be that will change next week on the back of an announcement of a decent profit at Nexus for the full year.

It must be in the blood by now. Full year figures should be published next week and we should have a better idea of the strategic review that has been going on in recent weeks in order to release the potential of the business partly through acquisition(s)and reach "critical mass".
