Perhaps we're going to be tipped somewhere over the next few days as a 'share for 09' and some people have a heads up. Might explain the rise over the last couple of days, and looks like they still want some more.

ps - with sellers (if there are any left here?) only being offered a fairly derisory 0.95p, I suspect that there will be insufficient liquidity for the directors to pick up much more at this share price level.

thanks larry, looks as if that has ticked it up. the MMs don't seem to have been able to shake out too many sellers post-interims. wonder if the directors might be tempted to top up, again?

Shares in Newmark Security slip 9.5 percent after the security
systems company posts a 28 percent fall in first-half group operating profit,
and a 12 percent drop in revenue for continuing businesses.
Seymour Pierce says the results were a "touch" lower than it had expected,
leading it to reduce its full-year 2009 pretax profit estimate to 1.75 million
pounds from 2.1 million pounds, and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) to 0.29
pence from 0.35 pence.
"However, the shortfall was against a particularly strong prior period and
there is still plenty of interest in the company's wide portfolio of security
related products," says the broker in a note.
"The company occupies strong market positions in the areas of electronic
access control and retail asset protection, both of which are growing markets,"
Seymour Pierce says, reiterating its "buy" recommendation.

Thanks SLL...Never bothered to check the ADVFN news but got it now !

Love it...The main buy near the close was me. Looking longer-term here and looking to buy more in the short-term as well.

Shorter-term - Downside very limited by the Net Asset Value / Market Cap.

Current Market Cap - £4m

Current NAV (as at 31st October'08) - £8.2m

Currently undervalued by just over 50% and with a full year 2009 profit forecast expected circa £1.75m NWT will be even more so undervalued in the future !

One to tuck away safely IMO for the future.
