20/4/2010 16:34 | I`ll tell you about my `Flirtations` when I see you :>( | boobly
20/4/2010 16:32 | Sorry Boobly, no can do - hair now in very short supply after I pulled it all out during my flirtations with RBS, CKN, GTL, EVS, NWT etc etc etc | lombiff
20/4/2010 16:23 | Lombiff:....You couldn`t spare a hair shirt could you ? I`ve lost mine ! | boobly
20/4/2010 16:00 | Boobly - I look forward to that - I'm getting a friend to look after my Big Issue pitch that morning - I'll be the one wearing a hair shirt! All the best | lombiff
20/4/2010 12:53 | Less than the 20p I was told would be coming on here a few weeks ago then? | themoneymonster2
20/4/2010 12:49 | Lombiff;....I hope to come to the meeting , and very much look forward to meeting you . You`ll recognise me imediately , I`ll be the guy with the bag of rotting CooP vegetables ;>) Best wishes . B. | boobly
20/4/2010 12:41 | Boobly - thanks for your detailed post, which I mostly agree with. We'll see if the two remaining directors do in fact "squeeze every last penny". They have also lost a lot as they obviously have large shareholdings themselves - they also have options over about 2.6 million shares, but they will not be exercised as they are at much higher prices. I do think they were unlucky with the SOFIA trial, but at the end of the day, it was Prozac, and perhaps it's not rocket science for others to construct a trial based on different dosages of, essentially, an off the shelf drug. I was encouraged by NPL-2510, the biological screening product, and perhaps there's still some value there. Will certainly be watching closely to see what happens with the IP. All the best | lombiff
20/4/2010 12:09 | G2AM - it's always tough to take these, but you have to move on and make up the losses on others. I've been bitten fairly hard over the years but still enjoy the adrenaline when you've picked a winner. I went into NPH with my eyes open, but perhaps relied too heavily on the Edison research note saying 40p, even without NPL-2008. Will dust myself down, and move on - have made much more on SHG than I've lost on NPH, and I stayed fully invested throughout the downturn so I've bounced back nicely. All the best with yours | lombiff
20/4/2010 10:21 | Lombiff - thanks for all your usefull analysis. I just hope we get something close to 14p but the way NPH has been I'm really not holding my breath. I'm no where near as big a holder as some of you but it's still a bitter pill to swallow. It's my first experience of something like this happening so in some respects a very usefull learning curve. Good luck to you all | g2am
20/4/2010 09:09 | Thanks Joe - wouldn't be at all surprised if there's already an implicit deal to pick up some of the IP. It was written off in last year's accounts, so whatever we get should, in theory, be passed on. There's also £175K of tooling (that's a lot of test-tubes!) that was also written down to zero in the accounts last year. That must be worth something on e-bay. Thanks for the "support" for West Ham - judging by last night's performance, we need all the help we can get - I'm even thinking of dusting my boots off! | lombiff
20/4/2010 09:01 | Lombiff, I will try and go along for the meeting. I am still amazed no one has given a decent offer for some of the tech, years of work and hope there is no shenanigans but it wouldn't surprise me after having lost so much lately!!! I sincerely hope West Ham stay up as I live not far away and my Dad was a supporter!! | joeblogg2
20/4/2010 08:49 | Owl - you obviously aren't buying enough chocolate - I'm doing my bit for you! | lombiff
20/4/2010 08:45 | Like you, Lombiff, it's been junior gold explorers who have kept a smile on my face in recent days - unlike UNIQ and now, today, THT. | shortearedowl
20/4/2010 08:37 | Thanks owl - good luck with your other, better places. I'm trapped here, so will await the payout. I think I'd be a lot less sanguine about NPH if I weren't having such a good time with junior gold explorers. I, too, have a long list of boo boos, but I'm used to disappointment, being a West Ham supporter! All the best | lombiff
20/4/2010 08:29 | Good luck all. As Lombiff has said it's a sad day for autism treatment etc, but I've decided to cash in. I'm taking a hit but sold at 11p and the attractions of perhaps eventually collecting 13.5 or so are outweighed by the significance of the words "perhaps" and "eventually" - there are lots of better places for my cash while this mess is sorted out. Ah well, another to join my sorry list of boo boos......... I'll keep an eye on progress and once again good luck to those who are staying | shortearedowl
20/4/2010 08:26 | Thanks Lombiff - just read it. | liarspoker
20/4/2010 08:15 | How do you get 13.4p joeblogg2 ? | liarspoker
20/4/2010 08:13 | My b/even is about 19p but according to circular approx 13.4 as a guide :(( and have 175k shares. The biotecs have really been disasterous for UK and me :( | joeblogg2
20/4/2010 08:09 | " Lets hope they do finf some value or ensure nobody walks off with it!!! " Why do I think `Some one already has` ! Phhoaaarr ! ..... there`s that `STENCH` again . | boobly
20/4/2010 07:36 | So what will happen to the tech? Just found it in the circular: Whilst the liquidators of Neuropharm Limited may realise any value which there may be in Neuropharm Limited's intellectual property or other assets, Shareholders should be aware that no assurance can be given that any value will be realised. Lets hope they do finf some value or ensure nobody walks off with it!!! | joeblogg2
20/4/2010 06:38 | anyone know what their liabilities are? Thanks. | parvez
20/4/2010 06:31 | Light at the end of the tunnel then | pelleeds1980 |
