12/3/2010 09:12 | Fair ... thats strange ... I was guessing that exact figure. And if the long term larger holders don't go for it the company can mention winding up and then giving out half that figure. Regards IHNC | ihavenoclue
11/3/2010 22:38 | My guess is an IP around 5mn, add cash of around 4.25mn after all costs and you have around 30p per share... just a punt. | fairdeal2008
11/3/2010 21:13 | The only way is up from here. How much up? Well who knows but its definetly going up. | orinocor
11/3/2010 15:45 | pump me ... dump me ... take me any way you want me. always the same sad story. | spec97
11/3/2010 13:23 | Arc :....Hope you`re right . Putting a positive slant on the PIPJ involvement : Perhaps their motive / instruction is to keep the lid on this , to disuade wild speculative PI buying (eg Honest Fairdeal ,) which might create an unhelpful medium , and unrealistic price , for genuine T/O talks . (I think I`m clutching at straws .) | boobly
11/3/2010 13:19 | Well they burnt a million in six months so assume another mill goes on redundancy, sale legals etc. Add £250k legals and 'advisory' fees on wind up and then double that because you always have to. I would guess dist cash around £4.5mn, maybe 4mn. Still 13-15p per share plus sale upside. A sitter.. Like this: Sorry - had to do it! | fairdeal2008
11/3/2010 13:17 | Hadronk :....The only shorters on here are PIPJ , and where do they get their information (and instructions?) ? | boobly
11/3/2010 13:10 | I can't imagine any wind up costs would be to onerous. The have a tiny staff (10-12), they lease their premises. Nothing to sell. Just the routine legal aspects of delisting, winding up and selling the company intellectual & research assets. If we get nothing for those (very unlikely), there still has to be 50% upside here. IMHO. A bid could be current cash plus premium so 19p+ DYOR. | arc2006
11/3/2010 13:04 | Well to be honest - if you buy today your money is fully underwritten by any minimal cash distribution - with the potential upside from a reasonable deal. Have to be doubly honest and say I sold out a while ago. But I want to buy back in before any news because I think this is a sitter. | fairdeal2008
11/3/2010 12:56 | The current price has dropped 4.5%, the quoted spread is 21%. Impossible to make a profit from a short with those numbers. Wish I had deep enough pockets to take the shorters on. See just how committed they are. | hadronuk
11/3/2010 12:05 | 81OOO SHORT !!! There`s NO WAY , this is a money making exersice by PIPJ . This is all about keeping the price of this stock , ie ; the value of this Company suppressed : | Purchase/sale | Number of securities | Price | Buy | 10,000 | 10.65p | Buy | 77,000 | 10.875p | Buy | 44,363 | 11.375p | Buy | 2,500 | 11.50p | Buy | 5,000 | 12.00p | Sell | 70,000 | 12.00p | Sell | 68,050 | 12.50p | Sell | 45,210 | 13.00p As IHNC says :............`THIS STINKS `. | boobly
11/3/2010 11:57 | Another EPT RNS! Short has increased by 44,397 shares since last disclosure. Thats a substantial part of all sells in that time frame. This really is market manipulation. How much do these RNSs cost? Make the shorters pay! | hadronuk
11/3/2010 09:49 | that still does not explain why peop;le are selling at below 11p i just can not believe anyone who is an investor would sell at these levels now this news is out. It must be MM games or manipulation by interested parties as suggested on here. | warwick69
11/3/2010 09:45 | ........." tare up their service contracts "....... Prophetic ! Why am I suspicious that you`ve turned up as ; "Tares amongst the wheat" , to smooth shareholders gently into a position of acceptance . | boobly
11/3/2010 09:45 | I have to laugh at the amount concentrated on the winding up part of the RNS as, as far as I am concerned, they put that in for a reason. Obviously the BoD are unable to achieve a value that the shareholders will probably agree on. So what best way to ensure they do ? Give them a decision .. take this offer or the company gets wound up. You can't tell me after 4 months, and the fact they were approached last March probably by the same company, they haven't mentioned the offer price in detail. Regards IHNC | ihavenoclue
11/3/2010 09:40 | They will get what they are due and there will some key employees who will no doubt be needed to the very end and you want to keep them on side to ensure that the process runs smoothly and that you can deliver the IP in tact to a buyer should they end up going down that path. You can't just fire everyone, tare up their service contracts and give them nothing just because you feel like it. Anyhow, hopefully they can find a buyer and it will not come to a winding up. | guycep
11/3/2010 09:37 | Company valued at £3 million . Cash £6 million . Ten years reasearch development and IP : - £3 Million . Looks like Management are TOTALLY incompetent . (And before Mr New Guy mentions it , Yes , I am well aware of wind up costs) My main concern here , is that : `It`s an inside job` . | boobly
11/3/2010 09:35 | they do not diserve any severence pay shareholders should vote any setllement down they ave clearly badly managed this company? | warwick69
11/3/2010 09:26 | orinocor and what about senior management taking severance pay and then there are professional fees to consider, it is never a cheap option. I am not saying that there will be no cash distribution but if people think that it will be £5m and then some for the IP, then I feel that they are fooling themselves. | guycep
11/3/2010 09:23 | there is clearly more value than current share price indicates, i agree with Hadronuk manipulation going on here, why would anyone sell after yesterdays RNS with indication of 17p a share in cash and an interested party for IP | warwick69
11/3/2010 09:22 | NPH have a virtual business model. Most of the work is outsourced. I think winding up costs will be low. | orinocor
11/3/2010 09:14 | It tends to go for less than you might hope for off market. Clearly it will have a value but it will not be vast and don't forget that the buyer will then have to find a further £5m for a new phase III trial for the lead therapeutic. | guycep
11/3/2010 09:09 | That assumes zero value for the IP. | hadronuk
11/3/2010 09:06 | As I said yesterday, I would not buy at these levels, as the winding up costs will leave less available cash for distribution than one might hope for. | guycep
11/3/2010 09:05 | It certainly does stink. After yesterdays RNS, it has to be for manipulation of the price purposes. It's otherwise far too high risk for a poor return. | hadronuk |
