Can only post a small snippet as I'm sure it is copyright material:

Netcall has made significant progress over the past few months but there is plenty more to come.

Bang is keen to build the business up in Britain and then move to Europe and the US. The company generates plenty of cash and brokers expect profits for the year to June to rise from £1 million to £2.3 million.

The group is also chaired by Michael Jackson, formerly of Sage Group, and his experience with acquisitions is proving beneficial. The shares are 18p and should go higher. Buy.

I'm afraid if you want any more than that you'll have to pay for a sub ;-)

I use Netcall at work, a great system if used in moderation.

I am not a holder of this share.

Thanks for explaining, CWA1. It's frustrating that this keeps getting tipped by all and sundry before I've built up a decent holding!

Netcall hits the right tone

IC Advantage subscribers, who can access my weekly articles online every Monday, also made the right call on Netcall, a small cap company offering software to makes telephone call handling more efficient and one that boasts over 600 clients in the private and public sectors. Over 4.1m shares have been traded since the article was first published online (Queuebusters, 17 January 2011). However, the price has responded accordingly, and many found they could only buy at around 16p to 16.5p, rather than the 13p quoted in my article. The shares hit my 20p target price fairly quickly.

In hindsight I was being too conservative with my fair value estimate, since adjusting for Netcall's expected cash pile of £5.2m at June's year-end and valuing forecast pre-tax profits of £2.3m on a more realistic PE ratio of 14, a target price of 23p is more realistic. So with market makers currently offering to sell the shares at 17.5p, there is potentially a further 30 per cent upside

I'm rather surprised at today's sharp dip - looks like my suggested 17p support could have been optimistic. Hopefully just PTing briefly taking its toll

ursus,

I don't see much value in the Lloyd's sector at the moment. I target 20%+ returns per annum, so need to see more than yield. The insurance market is getting worse and I can't see an imminent prospect of any rerating. Still follow the sector closely, however.

I think the reasons are not rocket science - it's a sum of parts. NET are proving that profitability has been achieved as forecast and they're receiving due credit in the media - confidence follows.

killieboy, I think you'' find the share price took off on the day the IC article became available to on line subscribers. I know because I saw it published and thought about buying, only to find the share price had already shot up.

Something strange going on here - this rise in share price cannot be due to an albeit excellent trading update or the IC article any ideas?

looks like we're up for a little retracement and consolidation - although I'd be surprised if we dip below 17p
