Just seen that Novum brokered the deal but no stock went to Novum clients hence no warrants and no flipping. This is a huge positive having a sticky placing that looks as though it went to a few select HNW investors. Excellent.

I like it a lot and have added more today. This looks to be a very sticky placing as well, there's been no sell off and in fact quite the opposite which is very telling. It makes you wonder what the board and those that were offered the placing know - this was not offered to private investors.

There is a two to three year financing and construction lead time on the main project once the JDA is signed. This new JV will hopefully generate sufficient cash flows in that period to avoid the erosion of JDA funds

Also adds diversity to the projects so not all eggs in one basket

Any grid needs a balance of power supply be it renewables or more conventional sources - this positions NCCL as a major provider of two now, perhaps they will move into gas and solar next but they are certainly diversifying.

I haven't got time to reply to trolls squealing placing, JDA is coming this months and we now have a near term cash generative project with Tesla batteries. It's an amazing prospect.

Interesting development. One wonders why they're now pursuing clean energy options whilst developing coal based baseload power. The former presumably much more attractive to partners and local governments. Could this be an attempt at switching focus? Interesting times..
