29/11/2016 21:02 | Makes you wonder sometimes if the management realises this share is just getting killed by sheer boredom of investors. An update before Christmas would be very nice. | novicetrade68
26/11/2016 17:26 | £75m (30p) and they can have the 4 billion tonnes of coal and 100% revenues for a potential 1,800MW+ power plant. An absolute bargain for SEP. | doshdabbler
26/11/2016 16:12 | kibes, the thought had crossed my mind. | doshdabbler
26/11/2016 08:08 | Strange that there is no news of any progress at all as it does appear to me that both SEP and the Mozambique government do really want to go ahead with the project. The SEP video with pictures of President Xi Jin Ping and the President of Mozambique together is not the sort of thing that the Chinese would be able to just back away from. The only question in my mind is whether SEP would prefer to go it alone without Ncondezi. I am wondering if full buyout offer is going to come out of the blue. | kibes
25/11/2016 23:49 | Wtf! Lol :-D | jamie414
25/11/2016 20:51 | DoshdabblerYou idiot did you think it was all smooth sailing hereThe deal itself is poor, hence poor reaction, same over with Kibo. No interest | lightmyarse
25/11/2016 12:01 | Someone got robbed at 5p | mcfifi88
24/11/2016 18:13 | I doubt the next step will be before Q1 next year...keep the grip tight... | 123js
23/11/2016 12:38 | Lol yes, an update would be very nice actually. | novicetrade68
23/11/2016 10:44 | Enough already Ncondezi | doshdabbler
17/11/2016 13:05 | Cant let this thread disappear onto page 2 of my BB list :) At least we are blue on the day, though I think we have until only say 3rd week of December to get any news out, as after that the city (lawyers etc) will be too busy getting drunk at their xmas party and trying to pull a secretary or two :) | nav_mike
12/11/2016 12:46 | I am not a massive fan of Chinese involvement exactly for that reason too, but what is so strange if you look at Kibo, ORCP and now GCM, don't they all have Chinese involvement too ? And for some reason, their MCAPs are double, triple compared to NCCL. And ORCP doesn't even have a 'deal' yet. So, that's why it is so odd (or at least I find it odd) that with the amounts of coal NCCL has as well as the progress made, there doesn't seem much to be happening here. | novicetrade68
11/11/2016 21:11 | Well, one thing is definitely true Katie, that it's taking a long awful time and clearly there must be a reason why the smart money continues to be not interested. | novicetrade68
11/11/2016 20:38 | NCCL doesn't have a coal supply agreement with SEP or anyone. With SEP it is not even on the table according to the terms set out at the start of the year, rather it was 'envisaged' that one would be signed at some vague future date. Even at $110/tonne Mozambique thermal coal is still probably barely profitable for export and just to make matters worse, Renamo have recently had a go at a Nacala rail train. Over on the LSE board, a couple of morons are questioning when the JDA with SEP will be signed? FFS the JDA was signed in January 2016. That is not what you are waiting for... You are waiting for Godot... | katylied
11/11/2016 20:22 | I saw that kibes, and all that on just a MoU. And actually thermal coal has had an amazing rally as well since August this year, nearly doubled in price. I continue to wonder why NCCL is immune to all these developments... | novicetrade68
11/11/2016 18:07 | GCM (coal in Bangladesh) has gone through the roof today. No project yet, just a deal to work with the Chinese. | kibes
11/11/2016 16:55 | I doubt it. Fully cashed up till mid 2017. With this dragging on and on, I do wonder whether SEP are considering a full T/O here. £75m would be pocket money for them and an extremely nice return for us. Not out of the question with 1,800MW+ at stake. | doshdabbler
11/11/2016 16:10 | Is there a risk of further funding being needed while they await funding from the china deal? | nick rubens
10/11/2016 11:15 | Market makers playing this like a violin, they put the price down and people sell, then they put the price up again and people buy. Although not a lot of either really. It needs news of progress to put a rocket under it. | kibes
08/11/2016 09:54 | Christ alive, this is tedious. | doshdabbler |
