We seem to have finished the short term partial recovery phase with current buying now possibly representing a longer term investment view.
I note that against this rise has been an increase in the short position to 8.08% making it number 10 on the LSE shorted list. So there is the potential further benefit of short closures to come when their attempt to moderate the recent rise has served the shorters purpose - whatever that is.
The shorts may well be balanced by longs elsewhere, being an attempt to affect market sentiment while building a stake, for instance. I doubt that it is just due to an unhappy coincidence of "innocent" individual shorts!

I think that a few institutions who have holdings here (no doubts waiting for a recovery) would be looking at a bit more than that. Well at least I'd hope so. LOL.

Yes, a nice update. As you say, if there was anything more that was lurking, they would've Sid so by know. Hopefully the SR will be a positive adjustment and we are over the worst and our way to a good recovery.

In my view, there's a bid coming here in the next 18 months (probably a US bidder). I actually hope it comes later rather than sooner - today, a bidder could probably get away with £1.80. In a year, I'll bet that's looking more like £2.50 to £3. This is the fastest growing facet of corporate spending budgets currently, and it's hard to see how NCC cannot prosper once it has sorted through it's current (admittedly more significant than first thought) issues.
