SP - they redeem at 130.63p on 30/10/24. Nothing has to be done. 30th of September their other ZDP (NBPP) redeemed; credited to my SIPP a/c the same day.

Their issuing parent company (NBPE) has £1.19bn in Net Assets, providing 17x cover for the £67m redemption. Totally secure

Sky, what are the chances or likelihood you will be unable to redeem NBPS at the given yield in 2 years time ? I ask as someone with no real experience of ZDPS'.

True I trade NBPE from time to time when anomalously cheap versus peers; but my favourite NBPE holdings are their ZDPs.

Their NBPP redeemed at maturity on 30th September. That just leaves NBPS which redeems at 130.63p on 30/10/24 - almost exactly 2yrs.

A seller on Friday dropped the offer price back from 118.62p to 117.7p. That price, if still available Monday, provides a 5.29%pa YTM. Great value for a cash corner of a SIPP.

NBPE hold surprisingly firm at c1570p on a 35.7% discount; whereas PIN at 243p now on a 50.7% discount. Former may be a hold, just, but PIN look to be a screaming BUY. An excellent presentation to be viewed:

Thanks, but that's nuts. Government debt is the risk-free rate, you've almost no margin over it.

Agreed; also prefer shorter maturity dates. Also prefer 4.65% to 4.2%. Simples...

Why would you buy these at a 4.8% GRY, when you can get not far off the same from Gilts?

Likewise BT - added to my NBPS the other day after the maturity of NBPP.

A healthy corner of my SIPP - 15x cover and a GRY at 118.65 of 4.8% to maturity 30/10/24 @ 130.63p.

Hope that helps ali...
