Good to see L&G taking a 3% stake.

I have also added 50% to my holding in the last month.

Good luck to all and lets hope for continued better / positive news.

If not already noted TXO are in the process of building a marine waste oil plant in Bahamas.

Not heard much from Nature about future plants recently. I expect the CTU's and Gibraltar are occupying the majority of their time?

Re Gibraltar. This was as a result of an explosion at their oil storage tank back in May 2011 tragically killing a sub contract worker. The resulting suspension of the operating licence and a pretty damning report by eternal consultants appointed by the Govt has meant the authorities have been slow to restoring the licence against local opposition notwithstanding the employment the site creates. There is a rumour now the site has been cleared, that operations may soon resume but it is a black cloud hanging oveer the Co for some time but hopefully resolution is now close.

David, I think the CTUs could probably clean up " oily waste" as a result of a spill , the difficulty is getting it somewhere where the CTUs could operate. Competition would be fierce in that area, although the Tanzania contract looks like that is what it will intially do i .e. clean up oily waste collected onshore.

The advantage the CTUs have is in cleaning up oily drilling waste/water on installations where currently this has to be shipped onshore. There are probably enough rigs/installations in the North Sea to make this a substantial part of the business if they can get more units operating.

I'm still researching NGR, in particular trying to get my head around the "Gibraltar " incident. , but really focusing in on the CTUs side.

Hi folks, quiet board, came across NGR from a reference made to their CTUs.
Can someone summarise or direct me to what happened in Gibraltar and its impact ?

Any views on how fast they can roll out more CTUs n North Sea, East Africa , S America etc ? Cheers.

HE - Many thanks for that, I think the Govt are treading on eggshells somewaht given the reaction of the people of Gibraltar to the re-instatement of operations. Even so two years on the Govt. should be being a little more proactive after all it was they who moved the Cruise Ships close to the tanks in the first place...........

I think resolution is closer than you might think. When I spoke to management last I was told that they were getting tired of the waiting and that if the Gibraltar Government weren't going to make a decision soon then redundancies were on the cards. They seemed fairly confident that progress would be made soon.

Gibraltar operations being rebuilt, insurance claim being settled and further CTU wins are all potential triggers for further re-rating"

Indeed they are but there is little on the horizon re the first two of these three issues and we will soon be two years since the unfortunate event that has so been a drag on the Co.

The clip from Riddlerone on 20 Dec 2012 : "The same story also quoted from a trading update issued by Nature Group to the London Stock Exchange on Monday, in which the company stated that it had renewed its port operator's licence following the explosion. The Gibraltar Port Authority has pointed out this statement is incorrect".
The Co could well do to clarify the situation on this point!!!!

HE - thanks for that....very useful to read the most up-to-date broker/tip mag views as they are available.

I guess that it will feature in this coming Friday's postal IC, in which case the interest is likely to be sustained through into early next week.

With the IC it seems to be the case that most folks don't do their reading until over the weekend....then see how it goes on Monday....then buy on Tuesday.

We'll see!

Investors champion wrote a positive piece this afternoon. WH Ireland issued an update yesterday saying they are cautiously leaving their forecasts unchanged but that see scope for these to be raised as the year progresses. I know the company didn't agree much with existing forecasts either so would expect results materially ahead. Worth remembering how high a multiple the shares were trading at a couple of years ago. That was based on the excitement around CTU. Had a few bumps along the way but those look like they are getting resolved. Gibraltar operations being rebuilt, insurance claim being settled and further CTU wins are all potential triggers for further re-rating.

"Nature Oil & Gas signs significant contract with oil field services company IKM Gruppen from Norway"

Nature Group PLC (AIM: NGR), the leading maritime and offshore waste specialist is delighted to announce a major step forward by its Norwegian subsidiary, Nature Oil and Gas AS ("Nature Oil & Gas"), who have been awarded a contract by IKM Gruppen AS ("IKM") for its Compact Treatment Unit ("CTU") and associated waste treatment chemicals.

IKM have ordered two CTU's to support their operations for the major oil field operators in Norway. Operators are shifting from the traditional onshore treatment of drilling waste fluids towards offshore treatment in order to protect the environment and reduce cost. As market leader in offshore treatment solutions, Nature is very pleased that a respected player like IKM is choosing its CTU and portfolio of green treatment chemicals.

Nature's unique CTU will clean the wastewater to meet very strict Norwegian discharge criteria, with the target water to be discharged as low as
