I think Bagpuss simply doesn't get it whatever we all say. At 100% down that proves he doesn't. Ah well in the meantime we continue to make profits roll on 40p.

Why would directors buy in at 12-13 if cash call at 10 was imminent?

simply no resist points until 24p (18 months), most recent (8 month) is 32p and RSI is only 22, so a 50 point gap to play on techs alone .. let your winners run

Trt. Apart from no revenue and immediately prior to this contract they had "pivoted" resources away from display. 1-3 years for next gen QD displays. Nanoco has cash to last a year from after the year end. Last raise at 18p. No reason to think they could better that. Although I accept this rise may mean they can do it at the nominal share price of 10p

Short of an outright declaration by Nanoco, what more would’ve required to confirm it is Apple. The share price will need some reliable projections of future revenue to get back where it was before Fridays rout.

Prior to the American company ( we don't actually know it was Apple ) announcing partnership a while back the share price was 40p ish so no reason the share won't return to this level.

There is a new review of the Asus ROG Swift pg35vg QD gaming monitor here

It’s a long review so I’ve found the part we are most interested and pasted it below.

As you can see the gamut of this QD monitor is not as wide as the 27” model introduced last year. This suggests that the QD film is different to the Nanosys QDEF used before and that there has been a shift to cadmium-free. Whether or not this film is from the QDs Nanoco sold to Wah Hong last year can not be determined but, either way, the shift away from cadmium may hint that the industry believes that the cadmium ban will come into full force soon.

“If you switch to this wide gamut mode you can see an immediate and fairly noticeable difference to the colours. They look more bright and vivid, as is typical for a screen based on a wide gamut backlight. It's not as drastic a change as we saw when we tested the PG27UQ in Aug 2018 though as the gamut is a little more modest. The CIE diagrams above show that the monitors colour space now stretches a fair way beyond the sRGB reference space, mostly in red and green shades. We measured a coverage of 119.5% sRGB, which corresponds to 88.1% DCI-P3 and 63.2% Rec. 2020. This was a little shy of the advertised 90% DCI-P3 coverage but not by much. This wider gamut should give you a nice boost in colours and vividness for gaming, multimedia and importantly for HDR content.

As a side note out of interest, when we tested the smaller 27" PG27UQ model this had an advertised 97% DCI-P3 spec, but actually produced 110.3% coverage! That model has a wider colour gamut, especially in green shades.“

Dorectors bought over 1 MILLION at 13.25p. They will want a decent return from that level and it also means there is no placing coming as it would dilute their holding.
