03/10/2007 07:17 | Strange, I've got an Announcement flag showing on my monitor, but there's no new announcement!! Interesting to see what we learn today. | bartyboy
02/10/2007 13:16 | As we still have no announcement regarding the sampling programme, I look forward to seeing what tomorrow brings. Hopefully news about PR or production will be forthcoming to those able to attend tomorrow's AGM! Good luck all. | ncp3
02/10/2007 09:42 | Agree bluesbeater, without PR we are going nowhere. | maxmol
02/10/2007 07:50 | let's hope they also have a favourable result of negotiations with a decent pr company | bluesbeater
01/10/2007 10:18 | Lord Sheppard said on 28 August 2007: "We look forward to announcing a favourable result of our sampling programme prior to the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 3 October!" SHOULD be seeing news TOMORROW or WEDNESDAY? | ncp3
12/9/2007 14:50 | That`s much better at last we start to see some upward movement. Since 22/8 ( 10.5p/11p ) we have had 54,562 shares sold and 154,875 purchased. The share price now is ( 9.75p/11p ), surely with over 100,000 more share purchased the overall price should be up.Purhaps it will need another large purchase before we see any real upward movement. | maxmol
12/9/2007 13:44 | Time will tell ! | ncp3
12/9/2007 13:33 | There must be another buy to move the share price up again, will it be 50k again? | maxmol
11/9/2007 20:29 | mm, looks like a sell to me? I sold out at 11p to a 50% loss but still watching this one as my timing was all wrong. | spudders
11/9/2007 14:43 | At last a big purchase of NBR shares, could it be Tony before the AGM???? | maxmol
06/9/2007 12:42 | WHY is the price being marked down with no obvious trades? (amend: small delayed trade of 4090 @10:39) It would be nice to see the Directors buying at this bargain share price and to give some support, but as someone who is inclinded to agree with the recent comments made by both bluesbeater and blues100 - I won't be holding my breathe, sadly! | ncp3
03/9/2007 09:37 | Agree 100% with bluesbeater. This is dead in the water right now. There have been a lot of positive statements etc but the share price goes down. This is not me de-ramping - these are the thoughts of a frustrated shareholder who is massively unhappy with the Directors of this Company who, it appears, have sat and watched the share price drop like a stone and done absolutely nothing about it. Numpties, every one of them. | blues100
31/8/2007 19:06 | this comany needs PR Production and Publicity, otherwise we are heading nowhere. The incredibly low number of trades that have gone through over the last month have to change if this share price is going to reflect the true worth of the company. Other mining shares have no profit, no money in the bank, debts and yet a much better share price. Call it hype if you wish, but we do need significant and sustained coverage. Tony needs to appoint a proper PR company or we are stuck in a rut with no forseeable way out. | bluesbeater
31/8/2007 16:51 | Nice to see turnover above £500,000 although its a shame that the overall admin expenses weren't slighter lower, as we would then have achieved an operating PROFIT! Positive statement from the Chairman was encouraging, shame the share price didn't tick up. Hopefully, when the sampling period is over the company can crack on with production and the decline in the share price will cease! Anyone share my views or have other opinions?!?!? | ncp3
31/8/2007 07:55 | YEAR ENDED 28 FEBRUARY 2007 The year to 28 February 2007 was very satisfactory. An extensive exploration and sampling programme was embarked upon in October 2006 and has continued into the new financial year. This will enable the company to identify and consolidate a number of resources into reserves to create an ongoing continuous mining programme. So far the results of this sampling programme are very encouraging particularly in relation to diamond size. Ground water is still encountered from the flood in April 2006, which slowed progress. However this valuable work will reward us well in the future. Turnover to the 28 February 2007 was £504,542 against £484,030 to the end of the 2006 Financial year, an operating loss of £8,486 against an operating loss of £73,837 for the year ended 2006. The profit on ordinary activities after interest receivable is £26,068 to the end of 28 February 2007 against a loss of £64,373 to the 28 February 2006. Cash at bank as at 28 February 2007 was £372,188 and the company has no borrowings. We look forward to announcing a favourable result of our sampling programme prior to the AGM. The company's Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 3 October. Lord Sheppard of Didgemere KCVO Kt Chairman 28 August 2007 | bluesbeater
28/8/2007 18:42 | If the article below is kosher, then its a damn shame it wasn't discovered on NBRs concession as this would take the share price back over the 50p !?!?!?!?! World's 'biggest diamond' claim in South Africa......... A small South Africa mining firm says it has unearthed the world's largest diamond, but industry insiders are sceptical about the find. A photo of the diamond has been circulated on the internet, showing a massive green-tinged stone sitting on a desk next to a cellphone to illustrate its size -- which is purported to be 7000 carats. This is double the size of the current holder of the world's largest title -- the Cullinan diamond which was found in South Africa around a century ago. "If it is what it is, it's very, very rare," said leading gemologist Les Milner from the Jewellery Council Labs. "I tend to be very sceptical about this kind of thing." He said it was hard to tell from the picture, but that the stone -- found in the North West province -- was the typical octahedral shape of a diamond. "Nobody has actually seen it to ascertain whether it is a diamond or not," he told AFP. An online mining industry website, Mining Weekly, quoted a spokesman for the company claiming to have found it, as saying the stone was in a Johannesburg bank vault, and the company was consulting with lawyers. However the spokesman would not give the name or location of the mine, beyond saying it was in the North West province. A spokesman for the world's leading diamond mining company De Beers said he had not heard anything to believe the authenticity of the claim. "I have no information about the reported diamond find but I have my doubts that it is real," the spokesman Tom Tweedy told AFP. "The North West Province does not have big mines. Green diamonds are also very rare." ©2007 AFP Another article with the picture: | ncp3

23/8/2007 17:05 | Tipped in Money Observer this money. | flc
20/8/2007 09:33 | The chances of this lot spending money on PR is, in my opinion, about as likely as one of the Home Nations winning the upcoming Rugby World Cup. Normally no news can be taken as being good news.......not here though. | blues100
15/8/2007 16:46 | Seatrader - Sadly, I have to agree! Do you have a holding? | ncp3
15/8/2007 16:20 | Looking dire now! | seatrader
15/8/2007 08:52 | TONY - PLEASE START SPENDING SOME MONEY ON P.R. THAT`S WHAT THIS SHARE NEEDS. | maxmol
11/8/2007 13:01 | The Annual Results should be out in the next few weeks and having just revisited their website, its good to see that the content has been updated along with some additional photographs! | ncp3 |
