I plan to attend the AGM later this year, as I did a few years ago. I too am sitting on a substantial paper loss & agree with the comments from bluesbeater (posts 2456 & 2459).

bluebeater - At the last AGM Lord Sheppard promised that
the next way ahead for NBR was getting the
services of a PR company. At the time one
was led to believe it would be within months
not years.

I agree the way he has managed it is not how I would have preferred, but I cannot see him putting money into PR when production is not flowing and profits are generated. Like you (I assume) I was once sitting on a large profit and am now nursing a large loss! Not happy, but still think this one will come good in the end, and I just have to wait. As I said I just dont think Tony will bow to pressure to invest in PR until production and profits are a reality - which they will be in due course.

bluesbeater - We are now in our 5th year of being listed
on the AIM market, share price at it's lowest, how many years
are you going to give Tony????

As of now I have not had a response from Lord Sheppard.
But I have found out that the e-mail address on the NBR
site is not working.
The people that e-mailed NBR at the end of April/beginning
May did anyone get any response???

If not try the following e-mail address :-

m.silverstein@btconnect.com

If I have had no response by this time next week, I will put
on this site the e-mail that I sent to Lord Sheppard.
If things don't improve for our share it may mean that we
share holders will have to attend the next AGM to voice our
displeasure at the way things are being handled by the
directors.

I doubt there will be any PR, they wil conserve cash investing in things that will get production up and profits realised, that will be the time PR will come to the fore. IMHO its just a matter of patient waiting for another year or so,

as for large falls on low volume, it may get lower but should they begin to make some money it will rise even quicker, just very frustrating in the meanwhile.............

After yesterday's 10.45% fall with only 12,758 shares being sold,
I have e-mailed Lord Sheppard asking about the PR company that we
were promised at the last AGM.
If and when I get a reply I will keep you updated.

He is probably too seasoned, long in the tooth. Same as the majority of the directors. Continue to have problems working out the profit margins. 450 carats more than the previous two quarters..... new water lines, maintenance on equipment, salaries and wages, Donald G Sutherland...all require cash. How much is left or is this another director's ruse keeping the share price low so that they can issue more cheap stock to themselves?

NBR ---It's steady and positive news flow that drives share prices to solid sustainable gains .

Why do executives fail consistently to do this ?

Tony we need PR, see what
it can do, it helps the
share price rise.

PR is what we need to get the share price up but will he do that or let it drift on down, announcements alone will not move this far. The last good rise was due to a report in IC - another is overdue!

At long ,long last an update for our last two quarters.
An increase of 450 carats, compared to the first two.
Come on Tony now it must be time to get the PR going
that we were all promised at the last AGM.
At long last we can now do sampling as well as production
at the same time, this should make all future results
surpass all of our previous results.
Come on Tony its now time to tell the world about our company.

Namibian Resources Plc
("Namibian" or "the Company")

3rd & 4th Quarter production update

Production update for period 1st September 2007 to 29th February 2008

Highlights

*Increase in production
*Increase in identified resource
*Mining to date has still not touched the originally identified
resource
*Streamlining of production process

Production in the second half increased by 450 carats compared to the
first half of the current financial year, which ended on 29th
February 2008.

All the mining completed by the Company to date has been outside of
the originally identified resource of the 'Pomona' licence area when
it was first granted to the Company. Dr Donald G Sutherland our Chief
Operations Director has carried out an appraisal of the sampling
results and resource estimates to date and has created a good
geological model of our total resource and our sampling has
identified an additional resource of 5,500 carats. The Company
intends to continue its sampling programme to ensure an ample
resource is available in each block identified in the mining plan
ahead of mining commencing. In addition the sampling programme will
be expanded to allow the Company to assess the potential of a number
of unexplored areas within the 'Pomona' licence area.

In our production update of 27th September 2007, we announced our
intention to streamline our production process and lower production
costs by relocating our screening plants and equipment closer to the
identified diamond resources that were scheduled for extraction in
the next phase of the Company's mining plan. By doing this the
Company will be able to reduce trucking distances, speed up
production and reduce production costs particularly in relation to
fuel costs and wear and tear on vehicles.

As part of the relocation of the screening plants the Company was
required to create two new water dams and laying a considerable
length of new water pipe lines. On sampling prior to creating the
new water dams the Company discovered economic quantities of diamonds
on the site of one of the proposed dams, 'Saltzpfanne' where we have
identified a non-reporting code estimate of 4,600 carats.. The
Company has proceeded to mine out this area, prior to the placement
of the dam.
The relocation of the screening plants is nearing completion. One
screen 'Manhattan' has been moved to the North of 'East Saltztal'
whilst the other screen 'Finlay' will move to the 'Saltzpfanne'
location shortly. Thus both screens will be able to operate
simultaneously and more economically. Previously the Company has only
been able to conduct sampling by suspending mining and redirecting
equipment towards sampling. Having both screens operating
simultaneouslywill enable us to mine and sample, at the same time. In
addition we have undertaken a good deal of reconditioning of
equipment and have purchased additional generators and pumps. All
this work will enable us to considerably increase production.
