Namibian Resources PLC
9 Monthly Progress Report

Namibian Resources ('Namibian'), the AIM-quoted diamond mining group, announces
an update with regards to the sampling campaign in the Annatal area. The
sampling campaign is an important part of the exploration programme at Annatal
as it will provide key data relating to grade and value per carat.

CEO's statement - Encouraging sampling results from Annatal area

In our six monthly report we advised of our intention to undertake a sampling
programme on the Annatal area just north of East Saltztal. This was due to
ground water restricting our mining activities on the East Saltztal. The
Annatal area is approximately 2km long and is 300 meters wide narrowing to
approximately 150 meters from north to south.

So far we have completed ten trenches in blocks of 3 meters by 30 meters. All
of the trenches have proved positive and the average size has exceeded the
indications from the old German sampling records of .25 to 1 carat. In certain
trenches water was encountered at depth from seepage which has slowed the
sampling programme. However, the weather has been good and the East Saltztal
has dried sufficiently to continue mining from 2nd January. The West Saltztal
water has receded somewhat and a further small pocket has been discovered
containing some 200 carats north of the flooded area.

Our consultant geologist is in course of analysing our sampling results in order
to establish the grade (carats per hundred tons) so as to prove viability for
mining. The result will be announced as soon as available although some further
work may be required.

During this quarter we produced a total of 628 carats comprising re-circulation
of old tailings and sampling recovery. Tailings are processed during the
intervals between sampling recovery. It is reassuring that carat production in
the year to date has now exceeded the production for the whole of the last
financial. We are confident that the sampling programme will provide a
profitable mining programme when the East & West Saltztal resources are
exhausted.

cuzy, It is my understanding that the 'quarterly update' which should cover the period Sept-Nov will be announced on or before December 29th 2006......but there is always a chance that they might be out before Christmas day!

Hopefully, we might get some upward movement before the next positive 'quarterly update' at the end of this month!

Let me know your thoughts on the following:

Chemistry Communications is a marketing communications group that specialises in Customer Relationship Management (CRM). They were floated on Ofex in January 2001 at 46p but have since gone some what unnoticed. The group has completed three acquisitions in the last couple of years in the areas of digital, events management and PR. These acquisitions have transformed the group and have lead to a surge in profits. The group has been profitable for the past three years producing an operating profit of £544k (2004), £577k (2005) and has stated in a trading statement that operating profit in 2006 will exceed £1.3 million. This means EPS for the year to November 2006, will be around 3p therefore giving a PE of only 4.5, compared to a sector average of 11.5. Next year EPS could increase to over 4p, thereby putting the shares on a forward multiple of under 3.5.

It is a company I would recommend looking at further, before it is noticed by the city.

I use the term 'publicity' to mean increased public interest or awareness in something and information used to attract that public attention. Suggest the following:

1. Increased and frequent news-flow (e.g. During October NBR did sampling at x and recovered 60 diamonds over 1ct; during November NBR did sampling at x and y and recovered 109 diamonds over 1.25cts; acquired some new machinery which arrives on site next week, or any relevant info about the day-to-day happenings on the concession that might grab peoples attention such as sick Cheetah found sleeping on top of DMS plant which delayed the operation by 4 hours – take some photographs and put them on the website - as it makes people feel more involved), although I certainly think that the 'quarterly update' is a major step in the right direction.

2. Newspaper / magazine write-up about diamond extracting, Namibia, the Company and the driving force behind it.

3. Presentations in London or Ireland to analysts/institutions to tell people more about the Company and developments now and planned for the future. Yes, I know NBR a small cap on AIM, but an explanation of the fundamentals would be good to drum up some small support in these volatile times).

4. Consider changing the company name to Namibian Diamonds PLC.

5. Get a TV film crew in there for a month to put an environmental or business programme together about mining, extracting diamonds both now and at the turn of the last century, focus on the local wildlife and how NBR actually care about their on-site employees and how they are looked after – which NBR could get free publicity off the back of for doing the right thing!

6. Give Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt a guided tour (if the permits can be obtained in advance) as they seem to enjoy spending time in the Country! This would generate GLOBAL interest, although it may mean sort term share price movement.

Hatto, I trust this helps to clarify my personal thoughts on publicity?

Hi ncp3......I don't know what you & other posters mean by "much needed publicity".

What do you expect NBR to do?

NBR is a small market capped exploration AIM company.....they are not going to attract the Big Institutional Investors are they?

NBR seems to be extremely well run.

They operate on a shoestring budget & to their credit make a profit. Perhaps going where larger companies would feel was not viable.

NBR will go up when its trading updates look good enough for the RI to get involved.....lets hope it happens this month.

Hatto – good post update....and from what you say it would seem that yet again another positive 'quarterly update' is on the cards for later this month!

It's a well known fact that a large proportion of the stock is tightly held by people who have done their own research (myself included), have complete faith in Tony and the management team to deliver over the long-term and recognize the potential value of NBR.

Apart from the much needed publicity that we all know is required here to drive the SP; let's hope that the www.namibianresources.com website is updated with some current photos of the diamond rich concession which is a great way to generate our own PR, at next to no cost, and this could be noted in the 'quarterly update' which people will read!!

Hi Maxmol.....Unfortunately NBR is a SMALL CAP AIM PLAY & that sector is out of favour at the moment.

We recently had the piece in the Investors Chronicle.....what more can they do?

Any money spent on PR is wasted IMHO....throwing good money after bad.

A higher share price will come with good results.

Hatto - Thankyou for your update,as you say Tony is very enthusiastic
about NBR and it`s positive future. If only he could expand NBR then get
some good PR,we could be going places at last.

Good morning everyone.

Just had a long chat with Tony Carlton (NBRs CEO) he says the next set of results will be out sometime before Xmas.

They are working on the figures at this moment.

Its 3rd time I have spoken to Tony & have always found him helpful, VERY ENTHUSIASTIC & genuine. Always happy to take time to explain to a thickie like me what they are doing & how they are doing it.

He tells me they have a fair number of fruitful areas where they are sampling....which seems to be how they get their cash flow, moving around to different areas as weather dictates.

All their areas seem to have diamonds.....they are in Annatal at the moment & have plenty of diamonds to pull out of East Salztal (the strongest area) & West Saltztal when they return.

The weather (which seems to be the key) has been in NBRs favour since the last update, so I am optimistic that Results will be good.

Indeed Tony did tell me about a number of large diamonds they had found recently.

When they will make the real money is when they go into production & Tony says profits in excess of £1M will be achieved.

Having spoken to him I feel very optimistic about the future share price ....although how we will do short term is anyones guess.

Oviously we need buyers & hopefully the trading update will provide that boost.

IMHO ADYOR

Hi Maxmol,

I don't subscribe to the IC, but have done in the past. Is there any way of contacting them to correct them on their mistake, and ask them to publish the correction in the next edition??? Its all more coverage for NBR!!

The write up in the " Investors Chronicle " has helped
a bit, with a few more buys we should get an increase
soon. Purhaps next time they could spend more time talking
about the LARGE INCREASE IN DIAMONDS found and not the
rain, also correct the acreage we have.

At last, NBR has finally received a mention in "Investors Chronicle" (shame they got the area figure wrong, though, as it should have read 10 km by 12 km approx!) - that said, a reasonable volume was traded today and to echo Maxmol's comments, I too hope that the share starts moving up again to where we all know it should be currently trading. The upside to new investors is still huge!

NOW might also be an opportune time to update the website with some current pictures! Please DYOR.
