Anyone think they may take it private between them? There does seem synergies and Ashley may have an eye on the experience in the credit side of things so I am wondering if the Alliance family maybe happy to take a step back from day to day, but retain their stake. But then I guess this stake building, if it was being talked about, would not be following the disclosure rules, if AIM still has those.
As others have mentioned I am not sure what the benefits of AIM is for inheritance tax and whether a private company would have the same advantage.

Hopefully the Alliance/ Frazers tussle bodes well for the shareprice.
If they want more sellers then just raise the share price.

Theres actually hardly any sellers. Another two chunky buys this morning.with lots of other buys.
At some point its going to need more sellers to fill the alliance v Fraser buying battle .

I just dont get why Schroders, who must have been well under water, would get out at the price they did if it was odds on a bid was coming at a much higher level?

And the gap between what Schroders had to sell and what LHA, FG and Monecor have bought this year just gets wider. There is another big seller out there who has, so far, remained anonymous.
