I have thought some of those things myself.

However the stock market generally, is in a bear and many stocks are going to lose ground.
If we are to stay and by the sounds of it you are....then we have to decide whether this company can weather the storm.

Cash is so important here and they have it .

As long as they don't make any acquisitions or consider mergers, too soon, then they might just do alright.
Intelligence and dexterity are needed in times like this.
After all if you kept your money in GBP recently then you are already ten percent down.
I have decided spread the risk,is my philosophy, but it's going to be scary I'm afraid out there.
As far as affording tests go...it is true that food and heating bills are more likely to be top of their priorities.
But perhaps it is n't surprising to realise that if somebody is ill and worse, in pain, you might just try to self diagnose with tests like these.

I myself have an allergy.
I wish I could have tried a test like this years ago that would have proved it sooner.

IMO

As someone who was invested here BC, bear in mind luckypenny was similarly excited and effusive about Concepta’s MyLotus product. It was her declared reason for joining the company and it bombed despite being on the Boots shelves. She has done a great job making money from covid but before I get excited I want to see sales traction with the new products and evidence of awareness raising. I’m on the share register and the customer database and I’ve received nothing about the DNA tests for example. £55 might be a reasonable price for that type of test but I’d need persuading that it’s worth me forking out for them.

The target customer base is not going to be the rich people being helped (to the detriment of the future of young people) by the unelected charlatans currently governing our country (they’re tories Jim but not as us old timers know them). It’s going to be people who can’t afford private healthcare and are seeking advice on their health outside of the NHS because they can’t get to see a doctor. Let’s see how much spare cash they have when the new products are launched into a recession. I think the mantra of trickle down economics is a scam to rob the poor to pay the rich. My surplus cash more often than not goes abroad (second home France, optics Austria, camera gear Japan, eMTB USA) - we don’t make the stuff I want here!

lol re point 11. I’ll give you that one :-)

MHC is my only physical share holding as I spread bet indices, shares, oil and occasionally currency.

Have no spare cash at the moment but will in December when I sell and move house.
Based on the results and investor meet, I’ll be looking to buy more if the price is still low at that point.

Hi Space. No I'm not happy with the share price.
I was in to the company before the Nell health acquisition.
It's just frustrating to keep seeing notifications for a new post when its just another saying the price hasn't moved and its because MM's won't let it. Or that when we have good news it won't move. Or it will go up then drop back. It's just negative commentary on what repeatedly takes place so I don't think it's worth the commentary.

I liked the presentation yesterday.
The new line of of products is quite different to the current line up.
At the moment the tests are based on DNA so not that specific and more speculative.
The new tests included blood tests so are genuine diagnostic tests that will give user specific results on levels of various medical conditions or imbalances etc. I see these as more marketable and should do really well.
If they can get them in to retail then it has huge potential.

They kept mentioning the cash pile and are intending on mergers and acquisitions.
more importantly, they only want to spend on companies who are cash and revenue generative. So no loss making companies.

The share price is ridiculous when you look at the cash pile, new line up and recording breaking month in July over over 6 million revenue.

We just need to get the new line up out there and in the shops. That's the final piece to get this moving.

I'm not reading anything in to the request for income projections. It would be really hard to predict sales till they have agreements in place with retailers. even then hard to predict sales for each product. Happy to see when that happens.

For instance in your trading, do you weigh up what is likely to happen this afternoon on the Dow's influence in the US?

To me if I was doing it more regularly....which I'm not at the moment....I would be looking premarket.

However of course not all stocks go down in a bad market....but a lot do!

Because I suspect we have been observing the stock market for a long time and good companies, that have potential, are hard to find.
Also they don't always continue to make it.

I believe the macro is more important than anything else and that is what is weighing this down at the moment, like anything else.
I suspect you would like to trade and some stocks are better than others for that.
Also worrying for you if you put too much down on speculative stocks.

Yes I do mean well. What I don't get is how you all are so happy with the so movement. I want you all to be equally frustrated and vent that frustration here in words on your posts.

How can you all be happy????

Having to watch it in 'bits'.

Before I comment ...no wonder they do so well with such a small team, with Penny's wealth of relevant experience!

I think she did the right thing to mention.

Many small companies lack the marketing experience, in my view, but clearly she contributed in many more ways in her last company, bringing such a noteable contract to market with Bayer.

Not to do any of the rest of the team down, I'm sure the rest of the staff have been picked carefully and there's no doubt that not only do they realise it's a fine balance of cash, cost control and ongoing products but they seem to keep to that.
This digital platform sounds interesting.

Will watch more later.

I think it was a very wise move not to predict sales ,it just gives people a stick to beat you with.
