Biily3 - There has to be two parties involved in any trade and I don't see the market maker endlessly adding shares to it's pool. The only party that can sell in such quantities and make a profit are those that bought at 0.7p and 1.7p (an average price paid of 1.2p) thus making a profit of 50%+. It would make sense for MHC to use profits to buy back shares cheaply thus reducing the number of shares in issue. Then in time the share price will appreciate allowing options granted to the directors to be worth something and also allow the original 250M (Concepta) shares to also be worth something. But what do I know!!

Of course it's also possible that the company are actively buying back shares??

Rell and Space; Official reference can be found in MHC Half-yearly report dated 28 Sept 2020.
I have commented on this thread previously on what I thought was strange behavior regarding share transactions. At that time I thought that weak moves higher were being constantly sold into, much like what I think is happening now. In other words retail are buying but they never get a chance to sell at a profit/break-even as the move higher is sold into, hence the undulating wave on the chart. And the share price now below 2p. As I said down to 1.8p and then best great excellent results with profits galore and the price will rise to 2.2p then back in the red

Thanks LM. Back when MHC was called Concepta and a different company to the one today. Saying that Penny was CEO and Mercia were a major investor. Interims on the 21st September.

When was the 0.7p fund raise?

Mcguines, could you please direct me to the fund raise at 0.7p? The last share placing I can find was priced at 1.75p in February 2021, including Mercia who have been long term backers. Thank you.

Interesting thank you mcguines.
I still have a few but have limited time on the bbs these days.
Will have to notice.
The whole stock market though seems in a precarious place, so we ought to be grateful we are still standing I guess.

I see this possibly falling back to 1.8-1.9p if 2p don’t hold. Hopefully it does and positive news comes with results.
I noticed TLY falling today!

Yes I agree. If the wellness products do well we can develop other products but to be honest I'm better off putting my cash in rolls Royce or British Airways as they'll multibag in the next couple of yrs from thew new lows

I think you may be correct but who knows how this goes. It’s always going to be a slow grind up and the spread price don’t help. We know the potential is there however good news on products needed and positive update on Covid revenue. Look at all the other companies related to Covid that have tanked. MHC is generating loads of cash but they are always cautioning to Covid revenue which will eventually fall over years as we learn to live with it. My guess is we make acquisitions whilst growing our own products so we won’t depend on Covid revenue. A fantastic share run by a prudent board who delivers everything they say

Here's my take. The share price here will go up gradually up to results day.

The only hope we have here is that the share price rises a lot between now and results day. If we can hit 3p before results. Then on results day we see 3.75p to 4.25p I'll sell the lot and run because after the initial spike on

Agree. I take 30% profit on average.

Tly was another one of my holding for 5 to 7 yrs. They keep making profit after profit yr after yr non stop wining contracts galore. They've made so much profit that they keep increasing the divi. Yet the price has been on average 40p.it did tank down to 10p during pandemic then recovered.

Mhc is another basket case like this....

Your probably right Cineworld may go into double digits however it could easily be suspended and you lose everything like POG recently. I went in and out a few time and made a bit but never everything in. Got out before it was suspended and I personally see the debt at Cineworld catching up and shorts will drop it again rapidly a few times. If you make just lock in your original investment at least. Hopefully it survives but a high risk in like MHC. However as you say we may stay at 2p. However we’re not falling from £1.50p either and rising steadily
