If they bid they may offer all share, based on Burberry price to revenue if they offered the same it would be around 850p or 2.5 Mulberry gets you a Burberry share and the new company would be called Mulburberry

As the Washington post said Mulberry is top of the list for Burberry to put a bid in, the question is what price?

Reading between the lines I think results will be excellent.45 percent share price rise. No speeding ticket.Last update they said trading very well.No update since to change that viewI think expectations here are going to be smashed.

Someone bought a bit at the end at 280, if they fall to 250 I’ll buy more if not I’ll sit out with what I have, I get a feeling they will have excellent results next week and also can see a bid coming in near future imho dyor

Also Kate Middleton spotted with a mulberry bag out today.The Princess completed her look by wearing a small matching blackberry purple colored clutch that paired perfectly with her monochrome ensemble. The Princess' bag was from Mulberry and was the Bayswater clutch in burgundy suede. While this bag is no longer sold by Mulberry, there are a number of similar clutches in a variety of styles and colors. Many of which are very similar to the style of Catherine's clutch.

I think mulberry has been 'missed' by the market and it's starting to wake up now. 2 weeks to results? They could well blow the lid off.
