MM having a little shake imo - nice to see it so high on the risers list, as that will attract attention to how good the results are. Next few day should see it breakout imo.

And about time too. Glad to see my faith in this company finally vindicated. They'll have to be on every ESG investors' list except for the vegans (they still use leather). Great results and a unique and modern approach to design. Maybe one day we'll be back to £20.

Nice to have some company that agrees on this BB.

I expect the next results will really get this back to its previous highs. Worth holding onto imo.

Amazing results. Extremely undervalued now, especially when compared to other luxury brands. Just look at the numbers from today every single metric is flying. Only problem is, NT TO BUY EVEN £500! Best of luck to whoever is in here. Fantastic company, luxury brand around the world, massive turn around, they surely know what the doing. Wouldn't be surprised with £5+ finish by end of the week.

Blowout numbers. Market sleeping.

British heritage brand Mulberry has unveiled a new collection of bags created using the world’s lowest carbon leather in partnership with Muirhead, a member of the Scottish Leather Group

Good to see it moving in the right direction again but in view of the fact the results are so good, its a slow start.

Great set of results and the current sales growth shows how exciting this is becoming once again.

Great cash recourses now available as well.

Just been the general market dragging this down with it imo.

With Christmas coming and growth from on-line sales the update should have a major impact I expect, as I can only see more upside than downside.

I like TMI's coverage. Check press reports of recent collaborations. No analysts are covering this at the mo. Completely under the radar. FRAS see value here. Next update should be very interesting. Looks to have decent prospects imo

Seems like the steam has already run out of Momentum Investors sails, following yesterdays early surge of buys. Early Days though and another one that should show fantastic results for their record of picking winners.

Thanks lomax99

This should be over a fiver already as they turned the corner and like all luxury goods sellers seem to have a job to keep up with demand, so results to Christmas should put more than a shine onto the share price

Target £10.

Early morning interest and sure enough, going up at speed without news, so whats up, other that it could be the start of the Christmas rush.

It's just a matter of weeks before the Paris store will be handed over and the company will be over £10 million cash richer after expenses, which with every likely-hood that Christmas will be a bumper one for luxury goods makers, MUL might I guess make a statement once the deal is done and dusted, which with luck will include a forward looking trading statement as well.

I am surprised that there has been so many very small amounts of stock sold over the past months that has seen the share price slip as low as it has.

When it jumps again it will be fast moving upwards imo.

With the AGM scheduled at 11am today I would expect news very shortly but disappointed that they have not issued a statement ahead of the AGM.

"Mulberry, the largest manufacturer of luxury goods in the UK, is about to increase production in its two Somerset factories, the Rookery and the Willows, which between them employ 450 people. “The factories and the people who work there are the centre of who we are,” says the supply chain director, Rob Billington. “They are fantastic places. There is so much knowledge there.

“When we start producing a new bag, the person in the factory who’s been working with us for 20 years pretty much knows whether it will be a success of not.” Mulberry proves that responsible British fashion manufacturing is possible, says Billington. “At Mulberry we compete with Louis Vuitton and Chanel and Gucci and we hold our own. But it would be great to have a government incentivising UK manufacturing beyond the big boys of the car industry.”

From Frasers accounts published today:

"We held approximately 36.8% of Mulberry Group plc at the year end. We believe this is an iconic British brand and hope that together we can build a mutually beneficial partnership going forward."

"The Group is continuing to invest in its physical and digital elevation strategy and our omni-channel offering is growing in strength. Our stores in the UK have reopened above expectations and our online channel continues to significantly outperform pre-Covid-19 periods"

So I expect the sales of Mulberry Bags etc are leaping ahead now that the stores are trading above expectations.

Bored investors seem to be looking for cash or moving to high risk investments I guess. Some would rather risk it all on tulip blockchain businesses or cryptos.

As expected, it is taking days for the great news to sink in and my recent purchases of MUL are looking very good now but I think there is a lot more in this and if I were more cash liquid I would be adding all the way up.

Judging by the lack of interest in the stock today, I guess it will take several days to pass the £4 level once again, unless of course one of the big luxury houses makes a generous offer for Mike Ashley's large stake that he undoubtedly in unlikely to refuse and then go onto bid for the whole company.

It would be a very opportunist move but a bargain buy even at £7.50+ a share imo.

Babbler - Yes I acknowledge my error but here we are with the results on the 21st not 22nd as you pointed out. However moving on, this result is a remarkable turnaround considering the forecast before the last update.

The small profit exceeded my expectations and the cash position is even stronger than I anticipated.

The best part of all imo is the positive growth since the return to a little more normality.

The sale of the Paris shop, the growth in Asia, it just gets better and better.
