16/5/2006 14:07 | CR would you kindly give me a brief explanation re AIM shares and CGT and taper relief, I cant find any specific reference on HRMC website, and I know that you have mentioned it on several AIM threads. Regards Mike | puku
16/5/2006 11:34 | Net 5K sold over two days - wiped 5% of the market cap or £750K - monsense! lol! And with commofity prices falling that's actually good news for MSI!!! CR | cockneyrebel
16/5/2006 11:17 | Problem with market shakes like this is that all those people on risky margin start dragging it down for the rest of us while they flick around looking for liquidity. MMs are just reacting to the market - not their fault that everyone and their aunt wants to sell things and no-one wants to buy. | xdavid
16/5/2006 10:38 | Finally it's MSI's turn to try to panic a few out with a ridiculous markdown. Results coming out soon, and no doubt the MMs want to try to get a few cheap shares in for when the rush starts as I believe it will. | rivaldo
09/5/2006 14:29 | Actually looking very strong today. But does need to throw of this mid 160s cap and really breakout. But only a matter of time IMO. | doubleorquits
09/5/2006 13:00 | MM's soaking up a 7.5K sell too - looks like there's strong buying behind the scenes too. CR | cockneyrebel
09/5/2006 10:25 | Another of those 20K buys - someone is stake building a decent chunk. Director buys would need to be about now before the closed period - we'll soon see if it is. CR | cockneyrebel
09/5/2006 09:50 | Good to see this breaking out at last. Another one destined for the 200p level! (SMC, SGI two others I can think of.) | njp

08/5/2006 17:04 | CR, Seen your old fave, Mayborn recently? We're waiting for a bid. Sorry for off topic post! Steve | goatman
08/5/2006 15:54 | Puzzle for the day: What would you rather have... Stock A: which would go up one week, then down the following week for an average gain (week on week) of only 1.35% or Stock B: does absolutely nothing, then jumps 20% every 3 months ? ? Stock B sound more 'exciting' ? Actually, they're both the same. They both end up doubling in price after 12 months. What's the point? I hear you ask. Daily/Weekly movement in price is largely just something to keep your 'interest' up and fool you into either thinking that your money is "working" for you or, alternatively, thinking that your money is stupidly "tied up" and being a wasted resource. At the end of the day, you just have to KNOW that the stock is undervalued. And be willing to wait for the rest of the market to come to same conclusion. And if the price doubles after 12 months, but the stock is still similarly undervalued, then you just keep it for another 12 months... | xdavid |
