06/3/2018 12:25 | Must be falling because certain holders were waiting for the results to sell. They sell the news irrespective of what it says. Then momentum punters see it falling and think the results must be bad so they sell too. | smallcapinvestor1
06/3/2018 11:56 | Dipped my toe in today with a purchase at 170.4p (inc. costs.) The pension deficit is still a bit of a concern, and the spread isn't great either but I now see this as a growth stock. Hopefully. | gostevie63
06/3/2018 11:48 | Why is it falling then? | yellowdog
06/3/2018 10:44 | Agreed Tiswas, I really think this is one for the long term, stupidly cheap when cash taken into consideration. | mobtheplod
06/3/2018 10:29 | I can only think that some people were hoping for a large return of cash or a substantial divi, why else the selling? I would look to buy a few more once that spread narrows a bit. | tiswas
06/3/2018 08:30 | Net cash of £29.4m available for potential acquisitions. Hence no dividend being paid. IMHO. Also: | mfhmfh
06/3/2018 08:24 | Basic eps from continuing activities 12.2pNet cash £29.4mOrder intake and sales strongly ahead of last year.Excellent results. | smallcapinvestor1
06/3/2018 08:23 | great full year results today with promising outlook. All IMHO. | mfhmfh
28/2/2018 17:22 | Great to see this moving to new highs ahead of next week's results :) One of my largest holdings & confident this will go much higher as more become aware of the exceptional value. | xajorkith
03/2/2018 09:25 | Article pointed out that cash on hand is equivalent to 87% of the capitalisation. Also still prospect of selling land off for housing. | capercaillie
02/2/2018 10:00 | IMO this is extremely ripe for a take over, good organically growing engineering company with loads of cash, the only negative is the pension deficit but with the pressure on interest rates to increase this has to be very tempting for a large engineering co. DYOR. | mobtheplod
02/2/2018 08:49 | Yes. Top share tipped for Investors Chronicle 2018 Bargain share recommendations | caterham88
02/2/2018 08:13 | Tipped somewhere? | smallcapinvestor1
31/1/2018 22:05 | No problem - a lot easier than I thought! Agree slightly disappointing to see this fall back, but nothing more than general market weakness imv. Results soon, at which point the huge cash pile shows up on stock screens, Stockopedia etc & more (hopefully) become aware of the excellent value here. Forward guidance key of course, but given they are "focused on growth markets with order intake from continuing operations considerably ahead of prior year", I feel the potential reward significantly outweighs any risk. | xajorkith
31/1/2018 18:11 | thanks for starting the new thread. disappointing to see the recent share price pull back, but in the scheme of things it is still in an uptrend. fingers crossed for a positive outcome of restructurings and use of all that CASH!! All IMHO, DYOR + BoL MPAC is in my portfolio | thirty fifty twenty |
