So what PE should you attribute to a small cap growth company. Anywhere else with the growth demonstrated over the last few years a PE north of 20 would not be out of place. 20 would see them somewhere near 5p. PE 15 3.5p given they have near doubled PBT again seems undemanding.

Now we have it clearly stated....'The Board strategy is for the Group to become a highly profitable, mid-sized operation '....as far I am concerned that means a market cap far higher than now. Group's strategy The Board strategy is for the Group to become a highly profitable, mid-sized operation that provides specialist construction and flooring services in a number of diverse but related areas but with a particular focus on the fit-out sector. The Group's reputation has been built on its ability to undertake and to manage specialist construction services to a high level of quality and to deliver the completed project to the client on time. This will remain at the core of its strategy.

Exactly he/she is an infant. Credit to him/her as the constant drivel has worked a touch and spooked a few into selling. Fair play. He/she will have a target buy in price.

There will be quite a few looking to cash in on profit and losses on results days. Let's have a bet, I foresee a close below 1.65p on results day.

Hopefully you are not double counting since that should already be reflected in the figure you quote.

And please let's not forget this:For Connaught Access Flooring Limited ("CAF"), the main feature of the year was the completion of its GBP5.8m contract for flooring at a new City HQ office building. As a result of the hiatus in the construction industry that followed the Referendum the signing and start of work on a new contract (announced on 7 March 2017 but negotiated over the previous year) was postponed until early this year and this resulted in income that the Board had expected CAF to earn in the latter part of 2016 being deferred to 2017.

That will be the PBT they are planning to report. This is not the same as what the market expects.

Following a review by the Directors of the Group's second half performance in 2017 and of the forecast revenue for the remainder of the year from contracts already announced, they advise that the net profit for the period is likely to exceed that achieved in both the first half of the year to 30 June 2017 and the second half of the year to 31 December 2016.Work it out for yourself

So, no one wants to have a guess at what market expectations for PBT are?

Right now can argue about subjective views of the business but you wont be able to argue with the figures and sooner or later, the figures will reflect all the business being won and the progress that has clearly been made.

Peeps leaving now are being smart. They know they will not be able to sell at a higher price on results day.

One could only sell 250k yesterday jeevsje, albeit one could only buy 150k I've just checked and one can now sell 350k and buy 500k So it's weaker than earlier in the week but it does behave like this EDIT - as I was typing the above there was a sell of 250k and now one can't even sell 10k. Looks like we may end the week flat after the excitement of some expecting results this week.

Why? Are you suggesting we look at the share price movement on results day to know what the target profit was meant to be - if it goes up, we will assume it is above market expectations. Else, below market expectations. PMSL!
