08/6/2018 13:57 | Following a review by the Directors of the Group's second half performance in 2017 and of the forecast revenue for the remainder of the year from contracts already announced, they advise that the net profit for the period is likely to exceed that achieved in both the first half of the year to 30 June 2017 and the second half of the year to 31 December 2016.Work it out for yourself | mikeh30
08/6/2018 13:54 | Thanks Gleach23. It is 1.7p to sell 550k, just spoke to broker. | jeevsje
08/6/2018 13:50 | So, no one wants to have a guess at what market expectations for PBT are? | likitorma
08/6/2018 12:50 | Right now can argue about subjective views of the business but you wont be able to argue with the figures and sooner or later, the figures will reflect all the business being won and the progress that has clearly been made. | molatovkid
08/6/2018 12:41 | If you look up what the resident trolls name means, you will realise it is nothing but a child | mikeh30
08/6/2018 12:40 | Peeps leaving now are being smart. They know they will not be able to sell at a higher price on results day. | likitorma
08/6/2018 12:27 | One could only sell 250k yesterday jeevsje, albeit one could only buy 150k I've just checked and one can now sell 350k and buy 500k So it's weaker than earlier in the week but it does behave like this EDIT - as I was typing the above there was a sell of 250k and now one can't even sell 10k. Looks like we may end the week flat after the excitement of some expecting results this week. | gleach23
08/6/2018 11:24 | Trying a dummy sell and no offers for even 200k. | jeevsje
08/6/2018 10:23 | you are wasting your time trying to explain how the market works to an uneducated shorter. | a2584728
08/6/2018 10:12 | Well they have given us a tip off of how much to expect | mikeh30
08/6/2018 10:05 | Why? Are you suggesting we look at the share price movement on results day to know what the target profit was meant to be - if it goes up, we will assume it is above market expectations. Else, below market expectations. PMSL! | likitorma
08/6/2018 10:02 | Will be very very bullish if it bounces off 2p as I suspect. Those of you wanting to topslice, just remember there is every reason why the directors need to get this to £20m market cap. I’m more optimistic now than I have been for a long time that it will happen. The current market cap of £5million is out of still well out of sync with what’s going on here imo. | jakleeds
08/6/2018 10:01 | You cannot give projections on profit in AIM | a2584728
08/6/2018 09:41 | This could well crash again on results day, as last year. No one seems to know what market expectations are!!! | likitorma
08/6/2018 09:06 | Waiting for 1.2p to 1.3p before considering buying. This will drop on results. Like the fact that no one knows what market expectations are - when it drops, they will always claim it was below market expectations and story repeats itself. | likitorma
08/6/2018 08:55 | I'm waiting for liki to announce his buys ;) | mikeh30
08/6/2018 08:47 | I can clearly remember that we were expecting around 600/800k pbt last year so as good as the results were in proving the turnaround they were under the expectations of many investors. There were less contract wins, legacy contracts dragging on and much less info from the board last year.Of course some people will sell on results, but let's see how they are. I'll top slice at 3p | mikeh30
08/6/2018 08:28 | Under expectations - was that based on your perspective or the market? Always hard to know what expectations are in the absence of broker notes? What's the general consensus on PBT for YE 2017? Worth bearing in mind that the price has already risen from 1.35p recently. My aim is to sell on results day spike anyways. | jeevsje
08/6/2018 08:22 | And the 150% increase was under expectations | mikeh30
08/6/2018 08:21 | What drove the share price last year was the fact that T/O had dropped from £13 million to £9.6 million. | dan de lion
08/6/2018 08:11 | Looking at the chart in May/June 2017, Likitorma does make a valid point about the drop on results day despite PBT increasing by 150%. | jeevsje
07/6/2018 14:59 | I think what is being missed by a certain poster, is that we are not being deluged with selling the moment we get past 1.80p as happened previously and are holding 2p-2.20p. | molatovkid
07/6/2018 12:50 | 2.065 bidOnly 150000 available @2.195 | mikeh30
07/6/2018 10:22 | 300k available at 2.2p. People shouting 5p, yet will not buy at 2.2p. Drop it shall. | likitorma |
