At this rate (another 2p drop today) it will not be long before we are back down to the Pre-Consolidation price ?? Maybe the company should change to supplying fertilizer as there seams to be no shortage of Bullsh!t available - we could make a fortune.

Uitkomst issue with contractors resolved. We've almost completed their acquisition. Should be a positive going forward.Vele - due diligence ongoing

Additionally, as we continue to develop, we are increasingly becoming a takeover target. I've heard it mooted Exxaro might look at taking us over. Despite them stating they are looking to diversify away from coal, the sale of $475m Tronox stake gives them monies to fund this. Exxaro also spending R100m on roads in Limpopo, and developing coal power plants around the area.

Coal shortages in South Africa, rand at 12.70 and price API4 both helping valuations. Hopefully we can sell Vele, due diligence being carried out by potential buyer. If we can sell this in near future then potentially will be self-sustaining.Company were expecting GSP to be granted New Order Mining Rights and get access to the remaining farms by the end of April so hopefully that happens soon. They were also hopeful of getting off-take agreements finalised by end of May, and once that was done the financing. The other development appears to be us potentially taking over the contractor at Uitkomst so should not hopefully going forward experience any issues that we've just experienced there

Consolidation, name change yet strangely nothing has changed. Let's hope their ducks get in a row before the world has completely switched to renewable energy, space travel or cold fusion....which will be first?

As nobody has posted for a while, these are a few thoughts. i think we start moving higher shortly and maybe very quickly:Everything is going to plan currently, ticking all the boxes although we£re dealing with South Africa so things much not be going as quickly as we hope but we£re getting there and Makhado is definitely going ahead.So what are we expecting in near future?i) Land access to be granted; by all accounts this has been signed off by Minister so imminent; ii) Off -take agreements to be completed by May/June;iii) Financing completed Q3;iv) Vele to be announced as up for sale;v) Greater Soutpansberg Projects (GSP) to be granted NOMR; estimate ETA by end April;vi) North Adit at Uitkomst around end Q3;vii) Second CGA (?)Note:i) Once i)-iii) are approved then no question we£re going ahead. Peel Hunt only have 40% probability attached, and have a NPV of $206m for Makhado;ii) Selling Vele and increasing Uitkomst production with North adit development takes us into self-sufficiency. While Vele won£t officially be announced as up for sale until after the June board meeting maybe it already is?!iii) It£s been noted previously we are speaking with the likes of Glencore, ArcelorMittal and Vitol. Big players. One of these names will help financing.iv) No increase in share issuance to fund Makhado. No dilution. This is important. v) Development of North Adit going ahead regardless;vi) Once Makhado is completed, Peel Hunt estimate company will generate EBITDA of $80m (or ~40p/share assuming no dilution). Micro:i) New Mining Charter to boost Industry;ii) No development in SA mining sector in recent years so prices to remain high;iii) SEZ will boost demand for coal from GSP;Macro:i) Coal prices remain firm;ii) China have lifted overseas investment ban. Have strong demand for clean coal;iii) SARB cut rates yesterday and their model indicates limited appreciated for rand;

I'm also hearing that the land expropriation for the two remaining farms has been signed off. Just waiting on confirmation.

My personal view is that when we see the share price moving around (rather than static like it has been for a while), we shall see a lot more trading. The company can say all the positives they like, but if the market keeps the share price "static", then we will stay in the same vein as we are in now - all in my own opinion of course.

The trading pattern here says it all - pi's have no enthusiasm to trade, not that there is anything the company can do to encourage us to trade for a while. Yaaaaaawwnn !!

Makhado $135-$260m npv Vele $25-$30m (estimate from former CoAL employee) Uitkomst $21m (purchase cost used, now probably higher given coal prices and last 6-months results) GSP $75m (payment to Rio. NOMR to be granted this quarter. Long term $500m) Dirt cheap at these levels.Time for a move higher!
