trade number 37
65.77p 40000

62.2p to sell
63.6p to buy

So, someone happy to pay ~2p over the official price to get a volume buy trade to go thru

:-)

NSF (competitor) said recently

"We expect to see a significant increase in demand once the economy is opened up as our customers resume their normal lifestyle"

:-))

well, positive trading in this sector & adjacent sectors in recent months imo, better than the mkt expected imo
(eg. at HAT, pawn shops but also buying/selling used watches, jewellry, & doing forex)....so while many bars/shops etc are closed many ppl are still living their lives, modified lives & some will be looking at borrowing money.

------

I agree that future months look better, as the economy re-opens...& the mkt moves in advance
(as the economy re-opens more ppl return to work, in bars, cafés, hotels etc, & hence the value of doubtful loans should reduce imo & the total value of loans should increase imo)

(if I was working in the leisure sector & suddenly the economy re-opens after 1 year closed, I would be rushing to go on holiday or buy that fridge/TV/car/motorbike (probably using a loan) that I didn't want to risk taking on during the lockdown)

Maybe, but I note NSF and Amigo are also soaring

Tbf a reduction in losses from online would cause this soar

I can't see a TU being particularly positive. Lock down will have curbed peoples opportunities to spend, compounded by increased government support. IMO, it is life after lock down where the opportunity will be and a later TU were any growth will be evident. Markets are forward geared and I think this is why we are seeing the recent uptrend. I'm happy of course to be wrong.

Not one for conspiracies but odd how this jump corresponds with the last couple of days of morses fy - almost as if someone knows the business is improving

The jump will be far bigger if the trading statement is positive which can come any day from Monday

today, up & down between 63p & 65p

imo the down trend was already ended/completed, by the rise from the previous 35p to 60p

but a chartist's definitions might be in line with your post

Looks like we've just broken out of our 1 year downtrend, a hold above this level would be really encouraging.

As per previous posts I expect a very strong recovery over the next 12 months.

but !

if ignore the sale of 1 share

then the last sale below 60p was at 09:12 this morning

imo it is clearly still grinding upwards
50-60p rise, it has taken 30 days, but hey, 10p rise is 20%, if all my shares had gone up 20% in the last 30 days I'd be happy enough !!

10p rise in 30 days , 20 trading days,
= 10/20
= +1/2p per day.

are we agreed, that the last peak/resistance at ~60p has now been broken ?

as the economy re-opens then more bar/restaurant/hotel/taxi/travel/airport workers go back to work

& any existing loans they have will see less defaults

& some of those ppl will want to take out loans, (some from MCL) such as to buy an electric scooter, go on holiday (after no holidays for ages), fly abroad

je je

------

price to sell has moved up to 60p

(..been a slow grind upwards from 53p)

....surely we must have a good chance now of seeing the famous

"yump jump" !
