Should have said that I take the view that any improvement in ATOME should be reflected here. I quite like the ATOME potential but I just wanted to start to extricate myself from PL etc. Also looking to move away from any direct share ownership of AIM Co's.

Dual fuel and Aton6 seem more advanced so I will be expecting more meat on the bones when the new websites go live.

There is very little depth to that website.
Does anyone else see the problem with that?

So we will be back to the pre consolidation price if we have a successful well. I cannot wait...

A 17% CoS means if successful should be a x6 increase in share price otherwise perhaps down to 30p a share but maths & the market don't tend to go hand in hand. Best of luck all especially long term investors

20 working days is the minimum notice so if its Q1 GHC IPO
and easter is the 30th i believe latest day would be 29th February
and that cutting it fine

Activmojo.....lets hope you are right, target depth is around my birthday and I live in hope that MEN give a nice present after 15 years of torture and a 92% erosion of my "Investment"

Can't see how holding news back will cushion the share price better to rip that plaster off fast.
I'm in the optimistic camp.
First news will be successful drill to depth, 2nd news will be results of wire logs.

I suspect they may even hold IPO news back to cushion the blow of a duster/ failure.

My belief is that we will get an RNS somewhere between 10th - 20th Feb confirming unforeseen downhole problems, followed by a load of waffle about bleeding oil etc. Unless of course you don't believe that history will repeat itself. Would be delighted to proven wrong but if anyone can tell me one well, new or existing that MRP/PPC/MEN has drilled or worked over in the past 15 years that has been an unmitigated success then I am all ears.

My belief is the CoS is deliberately pessimistic and not necessarily a view of everyone in the Company. Its one of those calculations that can't be challenged and if I remember we've had a couple of previous numbers which were slightly higher.
A play or hedge here could be buy prior to the outcome of the well and a further buy after the result. That strategy would depend on other RNS before the well result. Just an 💡

The well has an 83% chance of failure. The time to buy (if you believe in ATOM/ GHC) will be after Paraguay is confirmed as a duster.

It's a dilemma, because although it may be a bargain today, it could be even more of a bargain if the well is a duster. I'll keep my powder dry.

Brasso, Tapir x-1 exploration well spudded on 11 January 2024. Potential inflection point announcement in relation to this well will be made on, or before, 25 February 2024. MEN has a 50% interest in the Concession with OPIC (state energy company of Taiwan).

Tapir is estimated to hold over 260 million barrels of oil! So, a potential multi-bagger for MEN if the black stuff flows. I expect PI interest to begin nudging the share price in the coming week.

In addition, a second instalment of the Argentine funds are due on, or around, 28 February 2024.

But most important of all, is the Green House Capital Group IPO, another potential inflection point. An announcement is expected between now and 20 March 2024. MEN own 75% of the company. The value of the business is being kept under wraps for now, but when it is finally released – within the next 20 working days – then I expect a significant rerate of the shares.

Chris Raggett, head honcho of GHC, has mooted on several occasions valuations north of £15m as it has a revenue-generating business in DFL where circa 20% of hydrogen can be safely introduced into a diesel engine, resulting in significantly reduced emissions and a material extension to driving range. I’m certain this tech will do well.

So, overall, an unimaginable opportunity at today’s price. I’ll keep buying before the herd arrive.

AIMHO.

Can someone confirm when 45 days of drilling is meant to be completed? Obviously could be a huge uplift in share price if successful
